This is sort of where I saw them. Damn good players, no doubt, but not franchise players. I truly never understood the free agent hype behind either.

Parise is awesome. I think he's actually underrated because he does so much more than just score goals. He's a workhorse and a great all-around hockey player with an attitude that is contagious. He is exactly what a team like San Jose needs. I'd rather have him than any player on the Sharks to be honest.

Him and Suter will make that team so much better, I definitely expect them to make the playoffs and wouldn't be surprised if they made it to the 2nd or 3rd round even.

I know how talented Giroux is, but I'm surprised to see him voted above the likes of Stamkos, Malkin, Sedin.

And that's the key to this move, they didn't add any one-dimensional players. Koivu and Parise are two of the top two-way forwards in the game, and they will likely be playing together. Suter will roll in the minutes and play great defense as well. The Wild will certain continue to build around them, but having those three guys at the top of the roster is huge.

Statisically its not. People just under rate Kessel because he's a leaf and he was a player involved in a highly controversal trade.

Fact is the guy had a point per game pace last year and probably could of hit the 40 goal mark if it wasn't for an injury to line mate Lupul and the team taking a swan dive.

If I'm going to playoff war, I want Parise over Kessel every day and twice on Sunday.

Agreed, but he has a lot of work to shed that rep and Kessel also needs some more playoff time for some people to believe in him more as well.
