Any word on ranking for COD:MW?

The whole prestige thing on COD4 sucked. You ranked up no matter what over time.

They need an ELO ranking system :redface:

i like the ranking system in COD 4. but i think it could be better though. I dont like that all the guns and perks locked up everytime you flipped your prestige. That kills my motivation to keep going higher cause i dont want to wait to have my gun of choice or 3 frag perk.

also, some of the barrack points you earn are really dumb. Like the jump off someones head and kill 3 guys with one shot bonus. I mean cmon, those are so stupid and you basically earn those by dumb luck

they should base ranking up on kills....things like sniping, frags, head shots etc. should earn you points to rank up....not by winning a match when you only had 3 kills

yep....i did a few levels in COD 4, but its such a dumb waste of time. in COD 5 is stopped at 65

Yeah i'm still at 55 in COD4 and I did 2 in COD5 and then I just gave up on it because I didn't really get anything out of it cept extra custom classes. I made 10th prestige in COD4 but it took like 9 months. Before I was tenth prestige people would brag in the lobby about their level. I'd just laugh in their faces and the laugh even more when I owned them.
