After spending nearly all of his life beating Castlevania, Bmore has found himself in a Dungeon Siege...

What kind of Dungeon Siege? Well.. Dungeon Siege III.

And thus far (approx 1 hour in) it's boring the fuck out of me.

For what it is, it's a "samey" twin-stick shooter with a top license (Games Workshop makes a mint on the table top figurines alone) but similar gameplay to anything I've played like it before.

If I were to retract my statement about not recommending it to anybody, I would then reword it by saying that there are BETTER games in the genre that you could have fun with.

      It's your money though. :ionno:

Enslaved is a fun game with a tremendous effort at creating a bond between two people. Trip is so damn fine.

It's the best escort mission I've ever played and I'm only on the 2nd chapter.

Enslaved was decent, I wouldn't play through it again but I got it for $20 like you did and it was totally worth it.

I read on Twitter that this pack will be free if you have the Hardened or Prestige Editions.

I've had Deus Ex on Steam for years but have never played it passed the training level for no particular reason at all.

Same here. For such an acclaimed game, I've never gotten past that stage, and I'm forcing myself to focus on the game now.

That's what I'm reading on Joystiq, as well.

Activision detailed the DLC in a press release. The bad news: it's actually called "Rezurrection." The good news: it's launching August 23 on Xbox Live, and includes three "re-mastered levels of Zombie lore: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese, the Zombie factory that started it all," along with a brand new "Moon" level. It also includes an "enhanced Zombies Soundtrack" and a new Zombies Moon theme. Yes, by the way, this is really about fighting zombies on the moon.

The four "remastered" maps were previously included with the Hardened and Prestige releases -- if you already have one of those, the rest of this content will be free. Otherwise, it's the standard 1200 MS Points/$15. It'll be easy to acquire, too, according to One of Swords: " the short version is you'll be able to go into your Download History and re-download the classic pack you already own, and the fresh download will include the new Moon map. And you'll also get the soundtrack and theme, too."
But I don't think you get the MP maps, for free. Just the remastered zombie maps and "The Moon."

It is by far one of my favorite games of all time, but just like any old game it is a bit of a bear to get into now. It's a tad clunky and unforgiving at times, despite being beyond revolutionary at its conception. The fact that it is an FPS too doesn't help. I feel like games like Fallout 1&2 and Baldur's Gate/Planescape style old RPGs hold up a LOT better.

Still, it was an amazing game. I can't fault anyone for not being able to get through it now though, because I have the same problem. One big problem it has: clunky inventory management that was the product of the time.

I thought there were no multiplayer maps?

You're right. I totally assumed they were including MP maps, with the deal. But then, that'd be too much of a deal for Activision.
