No discussion on the PS3 price drop? I know that pretty much everyone already has one except Brnt and I; and it's only dropped down to $250 (I was hoping for more), but still I'd think it's worth bringing up.
I'm buying either another 360 or a PS3 when Arkham City comes out. Hopefully they have an AC bundle so I can get a nice deal. Do the system w/ game bundles (like the ps3 with Black Ops) usually get released at the same time as the games?

Yes they do.....Gears 360 should release with the game. That is how I got my RE5 and MW2 360's.....right when the games came out.
I'm tempted to get Deus Ex: Human Revolution next week instead of waiting for a price drop. Watching some of the videos and playing through the first Deus Ex has me very interested in this game.
I am getting it next week. It has gotten fantastic early reviews and people have really praised the game. The series is great as a whole, and this game has been far too long coming. It is definitely worth paying full retail for it.
For reference, PC Gamer UK gave it 94%, and Official XBox magazine gave it 10/10. Its more than likely going to fall in between those two scores for most reviews.

Go back a few pages of this very thread. We talked about it. I highly doubt either console will get an AC bundle. MS has the stupid Star Wars Kinect bundle coming and also the Gears 3 bundle. The PS3 has the inFamous 2 bundle and I think a Resistance bundle coming.
playing Age of Empires online. Free game for PC. I have never played an AOE game before but it is interesting....I can see this being a little addicting.
Great. I fucking hate Capcom and their bullshit business practices.

I love all the comments to that article too. It seems a lot ,more people agree with you and I on Capcom's bullshit than Misogi and Seth. But fanboys are still speaking with their wallets if MvC and SF4 are selling 2mil each.
Nigga did you just quote yourself saying you and I? And psh, I'll still see Medellin on SRK forums. Shiiiiet.
Sidenote: 3rd Strike Online Edition coming out next week. Fucking pumped about that shiiiit. Already preordered it thanks to PSN's weird side practice.
Sidenote 2: Isn't the purpose of preordering the ensure that there are no copies left over upon release? So doesn't PSN's "preordering" scheme with PLAY defeat the purpose of preordering?

Wait, so you don't buy the new $40 version, you just download the updates? If that's the case then this whole argument is moot. My whole issue is with the re-release of a physical disc for $40, not updating the game.
I was actually jumping back on to mention MK when I saw your post. Seth assumes I have some problem with fighting games as a whole, which is a piss poor assumption. My problem is with Capcom (and Apple, Nintendo, etc.) and teh whole re-release of the physical discs. I have no issues with releasing updates for games. I actually think what they are doing with MK is great, even if maybe some of the content is over priced. But if MK went the route and release a Special Edition or a Tournament Edition in a few months for $40 or more than yeah, that's where my problem lies.
So let me clarify. If you are supporting the game by paying for significant updates via download, good on you. It's the re-releases that I think are complete bullshit.

No different than your constant slobbing on Capcom's knob.
I could understand I GUESS if i was constantly slobbing on Capcom's knob. But I'm not. I 'm pretty sure our last e-argument or w/e you want to call it was started off of some misunderstanding of some sort, which is why the first quote is there in the first place. No idea how I'm slobbing on Capcom's knob, because I enjoy playing very popular fighting games? Again, you bring my name into something that involves a community you know very little, if at all, of.
Please, knock that stupid shit off. You're smarter than that.
Sidenote: There is going to be an update to Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition.
It's free, but don't tell anyone..
Motherfucker trying to tell me what to do with MY money.

The original games were developed by Ensemble Studios, who were disbanded by Microsoft right when Halo Wars was released. I am still puzzled by that move, because Halo Wars was a pretty damn good game and finally had a console control scheme that worked for RTS games.
Apparently, an offshoot from Ensemble Started the game, but Gas Powered Games took over. GPG is the company of the creator of Supreme Commander Chris Taylor, so I imagine that it will still be a good game. I'll have to try it.

Nigga U god damn right I'll be on SRK forums, Capcom fanboys are still paying for Medellin INC fight stick designs, shit...im workin on a ghost rider comimssion right now...
as for UMVC3, fuk them and fuk capcom....I've already sold the vanilla version and put that cash towards my new modded MK fightstick...

I'm still confused though. You said that you don't buy the disc "updates", you just download them. But from everything I've read there is no downloadable update for MvC3? You are forced to rebuy the game all over again. If that is the case then I still stand by my argument that it is complete bullshit. Seth also said that re-releasing these games doesn't not segment the fanbase but again I disagree. More often than not the new versions are NOT compatible with the old version so again, if you want to play, you're forced to pay...what Capcom wants. And yes, I know that isn't really any different than a FPS developer charging for maps because that also segments the fanbase and I think that is bullshit as well.
