But were you as blown away by it as everyone else seems to be? I thought it was a really cool concept and I guess a cool game but I honestly don't see why everyone creamed their pants over it.Comment

As far as creaming their pants (our pants I guess I should say), the cleverness and the fact that it was something NEW was what caused that. Great, yet simple story, one of the greatest characters ever in GLADoS, and a wonderful sense of black humor. To me, it showed that a new IP can REALLY try something new and make it great. Also, if a game has workable mechanics, or in this case great ones, I'm a story guy and the story sold me.Comment

I'm not too sure why so many people were blown away by it, although it is nice to see developers coming out with new, origional ideas.Comment

So, I finally broke down and bought the Undead Nightmare pack last night for RDR. And what happens when I log on this morning? It's the goddamn XBLA "Holiday Deal of the Day" or whatever, and is only 600 points. Granted, 200 points isn't that much to be pissed about, but this shit ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME.

I'm also looking forward to the Mass Effect 2 demo to drop today to see if there are any noticeable improvements with the new engine. I'm still on the fence about getting this for PC or PS3. PC is cheaper (and I already have ME on PC), but the PS3 version comes with the DLC. I'm going to have to do some math on this one.
Not to mention BC2: Vietnam...Comment

They are also having a "Buy 1, get another game (that's $19.99 or less) for 40% off" Sale.
Go buy that shit.Comment

I've always wondered why gamers give their created characters some repugnant tattoo designs that almost covers their whole body to make them 'unique', when in reality they're the 35th CAP I've met this week with a shitty full body tribal tattoo.

Now you may have a reason to buy a PSP2...
Originally posted by PlaystationLifestyleNaughty Dog proved that they knew how to expand upon the ideas and popularity of an original title to create a recognizable series, with the phenomenal Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The series has, however, remained on the PlayStation 3, with no version on the PSP, but a recent rumor suggests that there may in fact be a new, portable adventure planned for Nathan Drake.
Issue 213 of Game Informer spoke of an exchange between some hidden developers behind the scenes for the fabled PSP2. According to these minds, the new system is not only in production, but may even have an Uncharted title in production that could hit store shelves as early as “holiday 2011″.
The developers we talked to described the PSP2 as a very powerful machine, and we’ve even heard that a new Uncharted spin-off – which could even stand in for a full-on Uncharted 3 – is in the works. That alone is news, but it also speaks to how powerful the graphical capabilities are for the handheld.
Rumors are undecided on the true power of the PSP2, but real, official news from Sony could be right around the corner, with the CES 2011 kicking off in less than 17 days: January 6th-9th, where either the PSP Phone, or PSP2 are expected to be announced.Comment
