The Witcher is an interesting game. I'm a little surprised at the amount of women you can bed (I'm at three nearing the end of the first Chapter), and I'm not sure what to think of the trophy cards you get after each encounter. I still haven't found a way to get a silver sword though. I'm not sure if I'm not supposed to have one just yet or if I've simply looked in the wrong places. I'm not particularly fond of having to research both monsters and plants before you can cultivate their ingredients for alchemy purposes. Overall, I am having a good time playing it.Comment

Edit: Unless you are talking about the first game. In which case I know nothing.Comment

You should have a recipe for the silver sword in your inventory. It will tell you what materials you will need to make it. Once you get them find the blacksmith and he can craft the sword for you (and any other items you have recipes for).

I'll keep your post in mind whenever I get around to The Witcher 2.Comment

yep the PC. the pics kind of dont do it justice. the colors are much more vibrant than what you might be seeing. the game lacks real detail in the graphics. but it makes up for that with a world that feels alive with color and animation. For instance, you walk into certain areas where nothing is going on, but as you approach, the ground comes alive due to your presence.
what really sets this game apart from any other rpg is the combat...this is a great video of a mage using chakrams. basically the video is showing you all the base moves with this weapon. Everything you see up until the lighting move is a base movement for the chakrams....i counted 7 moves.
then you see the lighting from elemental rage power (he only showed the 1st part of the move here)....then he shows you the most badass power i have, meteor. Then goes back into showing you elemental rage again, this time all 3 parts of the move. Keep in mind you actually have to do button combos to make these moves work
