Played a couple of hours of God of War today, it's drawing me in. I'm not usually a big fan of the button masher story games, but this has been pretty solid.

Sven, GOW is solid man. It's funny because I felt like it should feel really repetitive (because it is) but I really enjoyed both 1 and 2.

Corporate synergy keeps the late "King of Pop" alive, as various divisions of Sony conspire for a special This Is It PS3 bundle. The ¥33,500 ($365) Japan-only set releases January 27 and comes with a Blu-ray movie of Michael Jackson's behind-the-scenes concert film, along with a 120GB black PS3 Slim. No word if this bundle will come with a white PS3 later.

So, let's get this straight: Japan gets a Michael Jackson PS3 bundle, while the US is "blessed" with a Hannah Montana PSP pack? That's bad, come on, you know that's bad. And the whole world has to answer right now, just to tell us once again: that's bad!

Most beat em ups are pretty repetitive, with the only changes coming when you get new weapons. Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, God of War, and Ninja Gaiden (Basically, Bayonetta then the big three of beat em ups) are all this way.

Agreed, but God of War is just cool. It's fun ripping those Medusa heads off a million times.

Just finished up Secret Agent Clank. I was never able to beat the final boss on PSP but I got that shit done on the PS2 version.

Now on to either A Crack in Time or I was even thinking about starting up the Jak & Daxter series. I skipped those games back in the day as well.

Twigg, I've never played any of the Rachet and Clank games. Worth grabbing one of the PS3 versions and giving it a whirl (rent or buy)?

Hell yeah man. I had never played a R&C game until the first one on PS3 (Tools of Destruction). I fell in love with that shit. After beating it I went straight to Gamestop and bought all of the PS2 games. I pretty much played through all of them back to back. In between I downloaded the ToD expansion Quest for Booty.

The game play is top notch. The weapons are downright crazy. The humor is great. The graphics still look solid. And the games are usually pretty lengthy.

I'm sorry that I wrote them off as kiddie games back in the PS2 days. Because I was som impressed with the R&C games I also bought all of the Jak & Daxter games and the Sly Cooper games. I've heard the J&D games are every bit as awesome as R&C and I can't wait to see what the guys behind inFamous were doing with Sly Cooper.

Well I may have to jump on the Tools of Destruction bandwagon.

                            Indeed you do sir.

I would also like to add that I popped in Forza 2, yes TWO, the other day. Man, that is not a game you can just jump into after not playing in over a year. I suck so hard at that game. No matter how much I tried tweaking my cars I could not keep up with the CPU to save my life. And I still have a few amateur races to finish in my career.

I see Forza 3 laying on the floor every day and think "I really need to play this" then I don't do it.

I have Forza 3 still in the wrapper. I want to start it as well but I want to finish the career in Forza 2 first.
