Since you don't know to much of it I'd suggest (as heels suggested to me when I first started) is to use one of the bigger clubs until you get ahold of the game and what not. Try using Barca, Real, Chelsea, or ManU.

i can't figure out the transfer update lol, i put it in Program Files/Sports Interactive/FM2010/tools/editor/data but i don't know what to do next

Put it into the editor folder.


Start a new game and this should pop up. Make sure you have the 10.3 update as well as clicking the change button.


Then select the editor files in this screen.



That should do it. Let me know if anything else pops up.

As far as continental play for Sevilla is concerned, we've drawn Everton in the Europa League first knockout round and the winner will play the winner of Atletico Madrid/Sporting.

Just got offered $45 mil for Dani Alves. It's tempting. I did pick up Diego Renan who is a pretty decent RB at 20 years old. Don't know if I want to give him the reigns right now at that age.

Just downloaded the transfer update and I'm starting over with Liverpool. I was getting way to much money for it to really be remotely challenging anymore. I mean a 173 million dollar budget with 2.9 million a week for salaries doesn't really make it difficult.

Yeah it is. I'm going to build my club a bit differently this time. I didn't discover that you could train players until about three years in so I want to have more guys come up through my youth system rather than just buying them.

Diego Capel to Panthaniaikos for 7.5m
Franck Ribery to Man U for 30.5m
Cristian Chivu to Man City for 45.5m

Landon Donovan from Real Madrid for 12.25m
Arturo Vidal from Dortmund for 25m
Miles Addison from West Brom for 30m

Ribery didn't work out at all, and I couldn't really turn down a 30.5m offer for a guy I got on a free. Same goes for Chivu. He actually was pretty solid, but when a team offers you 45.5m for a 31-year-old defender you tend to jump on it.

I brought in Donovan for his versatility/as a replacement for Capel as backup winger since Capel was bitching about his role. Vidal was brought in as the actual replacement for Ribery. Perrotti will be moving back to the left wing where I had him last year, and Vidal will start in midfield alongside Veloso, with Busquets as the DMC. Negredo/Hulk is still the striker combination, Navas is on the right wing, and it's Barzagli-Addison-Fazio on the backline with Kameni in net.
