My team decided to go into our yearly funk during the hardest part of the schedule. Usually we pull this crap when we play teams like Stoke, Wolves, and West Brom. Now we're doing it against City, Real Madrid, and Man United.

Well, after suffering through 2/3 of a season with West Brom, I declared interest in the Sevilla job, and accepted the ensuing offer.
My West Brom side was terrible recording 8 wins, 6 draws, and 18 losses. Third worst defensive team in the league, conceding 72 goals in 32 games. I left them in 16th. They should avoid relegation, but that's about the extent of it.
I join Sevilla with 8 games to go in their season. They're currently 8th with 13 wins, 11 losses, and 6 draws.Comment

Finished off the season with Sevilla turning in a solid 4 wins, 3 draws, and 1 loss to Real Madrid, for a 7th place finish in the table.
I have GK - Guillermo Ochoa coming in from America for 12m, and CB - Andrea Barzagli coming in from Wolfsburg for 19m on July 1st, as well as keeping Cigarini for 8m from his loan from Napoli.Comment

Just destroyed Arsenal 5-0 in the League Cup final. Now I've got Real Madrid in the second leg of the first knock out round of the Champions League. I've won the CL twice and the year after my first win we bowed out in the first round. Hoping not to have this become a habit and win a back to back CL.Comment

And we lose on aggregate 1-1 because of away goals. Sneijder had a 1 on 1 with the goalie and put it just wide. Igor Akinfeev played out of his mind though especially in the first half.Comment

Just beat Fulham 7-0 and we had 6 goals in the first half alone.Comment

So going into the final game I was up one point on Man United in the Premier League. They played Everton at home and I played Man City at home, City was in the 3rd. So its basically if I win, I win the Premier League.
It was 1-1 in the 84th minute and I checked the United game score and they were winning 2-0 so I knew they had it in the bag. Thankfully, Marek Hamsik came through in the 93rd minute to win the game for us and let us win the Premier League. I swear, this game always produces dramatic results for me.
edit- And to top it off a 33 year old Steven Gerrard won the English Players' Player of the Year Award. He really carried my team late in the season when guys kept going down and definitely deserves it.

Finished up my first full campaign with Sevilla. Strong season, but a little bit disappointing that we finished so far back from the leaders despite the 4th place finish.
Definitely going to be looking into improving our central defense in the July window.Comment

86 million, it was his minimum fee release clause. I somehow got Barca to pay 45 million for a 30 year old Torres who missed a total of 113 days last year. Still looking to possibly pick another left winger, I'm in 2014 so I'm open to suggestions.Comment
