The CoD games are quite arcadey. The only military games that most would agree are closer to "realism" are the America's Army games and probably that Operation Flashpoint game.

Aside from the HUD in GRAW, I thought it played pretty realistically. It was much more tactical.

I had a feeling they were pc which is why I didn't recognize the acronym.

The point being is that there are TONS of games that are far more realistic than CoD or MW. I just rattled off a few. MW games are in the arcade camp in my opinion.

Honestly watching more and more previews of this it looks like they are copying a lot of eliments that exsist in counterstrike. If thats true a lot of you should be pretty happy.

If the cash thing works like it does in counterstrike that will be 100X's better then the shit way it works in all the CoD games.

i don't really get the idea with the new feature cash. why would you need it for? i always thought that it is better to rank up and do certain challenges to get an upgrade to an weapon or perk.

i believe and think now in this game, you'll have to do some type of free-for-all match where you will kill other gamers and steal their cash. i saw it on another video, just didn't catch or remember the name of it.

if i am right about this feature of cash using, its really by far one of the most stupid things i ever seen until i get my own hands on the game. if not, then explain to me what is the cash feature for. only thing i am confused about Black Ops.

Well, you still earn things once you rank up. That's how you unlock the ability to purchase attachments, camo, call sign emblems, etc. But now, in order to gain CP you have to complete challenges or do well in Wager matches(the FFA game type you were referring to) to earn the CP you need to unlock your grenade launcher, or flamethrower, weapon camo etc.

From what I understand, it replaces XP.

u notice nobody makes tactical shooters anymore? operation flashpoint was the last one and it sucked. Whatever happened to the greatness that was rainbow six vegas?

the 2nd one was pretty shiity, and arrived around the same time as COD4 exploded on the scene. but i would have thought ubisoft would have tried to trump COD4 with a new rainbow six by now.

i miss those great tactical shooters

Please note that the playlists and categories below are NOT confirmed to be in the final version of the game. More playlists can change either before the game is completed or through playlist updates after release.

There are also the Wager Match categories which involve the Buy-In limit and they're not negotiable at this time. The three Wager Match categories are "Ante Up" (allows parties, low buy-in), "Weekend Gambler" (no parties, medium buy-in) and "High Roller" (no parties, expensive buy-in).

The current CORE category on the latest development build includes:

I love barebones(its all i play when i do play MW2), but i dont like the stripping of attachments. Those were fine, taking the perks out is great, but i saw no problems with having attachments.
