Xbox Live Marketplace/Arcade thread

I have never bought an PSN/Arcade game at release day price. I have so many retail games that I simply wait until a deal regardless of the wait.

I can't really remember the last time I have either, hence the reason I bought GG for 800pts. I figured that was the only price cut it would get for a long time. And I also figured that JMS was buying it or had bought it already and we were going to play together. That mfer still hasn't bought the shit and keeps ducking me for co-op.

My problem is that I'm a sucker for Arcade/PSN games because I like that they're over quickly and have a sense of accomplishment when I complete them. Retail games always take so fucking long to beat and I admittedly get a little overwhelmed by that fact.

I don't feel fucked on the Arcade games as much as I do DLC. I ALWAYS seem to buy DLC a week too soon, and to be honest, most DLC is pretty disappointing.

It's not even so much about feeling screwed. It just sucks when you know that if you would've waited just a few days. And in may case, because JMS kept hemming and hawing and playing the MS equivalent of fucking WoW I hadn't even gotten a chance to play it anyway. It's times like that where I wish these download services had a price adjustment system. If you buy something and it drops in price in 30 days you get the difference. Ha.

It's also why I haven't downloaded Trenched yet. Because I just know if I do that shit will go on sale a few days later.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 DLC is on sale again. I already have the Vietnam expansion but I'm going to pick up the Onslaught mode for 200pts. Anyone else have it or want to get it to co-op?

All Rockstar stuff seems to be on sale this week. Also, for those tht don't have it yet, the Gears 2 All Fronts pack is only 400pts. Great deal, especially if you want to bang out some cheevos and the campaign add-on before Gears 3 drops.

I just downloaded Outland and Ghostbusters. I know Ghostbusters is pretty weak but for cheevos I'll pretty much buy anything for $5. ;)

I'm also on the fence with Monday Night Combat and MoonDiver. I'm also thinking about both Bionic Commandos even though I have the first one on PS3.

I would definitely get both Serious Sam games if I didn't have them already.
