So I try to redeem a 400pt card so that I can get the Dishwasher and I get an error code on Xbox Live. I haven't tried using a card in ages. I swear I have the worst luck.

The first one? Man, I remember when I first played it when it was an indie trial way back when. I ended up not liking it as much when it eventually came out. Was very difficult.

It was entered right because the screen comes up saying "This code entitles you to 400 MS points" with the options of "Redeem Now" and "Cancel" at the bottom. When I would hit "Redeem Now" I kept getting the error message. Fucking bullshit.

And of course the Dishwasher is no longer on sale. MS just loves to piss me off.

No. I wasn't aware you could enter codes on the website. I can you can select things to download but didn't know you could enter codes there.

I just google searched and it looks like that error code is related to my purchasing being locked out in reference to my account investigation that has been going on for OVER THREE MONTHS now. Assholes.

Why it doesn't say "Your account does not allow this purchase" or something to that affect instead of "Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Try Again later." makes absolutely no sense.

so what I am learning from this whole fiasco.

1. Don't leave MS points in your account.
2. If you do and they get stolen, don't report it and just take it up the ass.
3. Don't call MS for support about account information.
