Yeah the older versions from 2007,2008 where great on the Ps2, and Wii. Konami was starting to get a loyal following to the game here in the states (It's basically a port of a Japanese baseball game), but thenabadoned the game here in the U.S. So glad it's back, and on the current gen system.

Even with the cartoon graphics, this game plays a good, realistic, quick game of baseball. I'm glad this game is getting some buzz. It was a nice sleeper under the radar game 3-4 years ago last time it was out.

      Backbreaker is $10 overpriced IMO.

Yea I agree, but then again, this is a dead period for me. The time right before NCAA leaves me little options to pass time till Tuesday.

I have a feeling Bobblehead Pros is going to flop miserably, which is a damn shame. Gamefaqs is usually a damn good barometer of a games popularity and there are literally three posts for this game.

gamefaqs though??? This is a sports game on xbox live arcade, and the 360 is the only console it's avaialble on right now.

It's a very small niche and demographic its appealing too, so I doubt you are gonna see alot of talk about it there for a downoadable sports game on xbox live.

On the other hand, OS has two different threads about the game, one is 15 pages, the other is 8 pages long.

Well, that's good. I know Gatling Gears had almost zero interest on the Gamefaqs boards as well and it dropped from $15 to $10 in like a month.

                hmnnnn....

Valve:"XBL patching is a train wreck"

Valve's founder, Gabe Newell, has admitted that the Kirkland-based developer has "totally failed" to update Team Fortress 2 on the Xbox 360 with any of the content from the PC version, but has insisted that Microsoft is to blame.

Put simply, Newell says Microsoft's restrictions on how games can be updated and patched over Xbox Live is a "train wreck".

"We thought that there would be something that would emerge," Gabe told PC Gamer.

"We figured it was a sort of untenable... 'Oh yeah, we understand that these are the rules now, but it's such a train wreck that something will have to change.'"

Valve has complained about XBL patching before too, taking issue with the fact that Microsoft apparently only allows one free update per game.

"That's why we're really happy with the current situation with the PS3," Newell said, referring to Valve's plan to start developing it's own PS3 ports. "We're solving it now in a way that is going to work for our customers, rather than assuming something is going to emerge later that will allow us to fix this."

He said that dealing with MS is an absolute joke. The hoops they make you jump through and their absolutely ridiculous rules and restrictions ruins indie games for him. He said that he is going to concentrate on the ps3 in the future because Sony is much more open with their policies.

MS's "one free update" policy is absolute bullshit. I would love to see a company like Valve tell MS they can shove Live up their asses and go exclusively to ps3. It won't happen but I can dream.

It's bullshit reasons exactly like this why I prefer the ps3. I still love my 360 for gaming but MS can suck a big dick.

I played a tiny bit of the Bastion demo and it definitely seems really cool and I will pick it up at some point. I also tried the Warhammer:40,000 arcade game and it's pretty fun. I think it's only 800pts and I might get that as well, whenever I get my fucking points back. It's basically a twin stick shooter that has different perspectives, including a modified side scrolling. You unlock weapon upgrades and "perks" and just shoot the shit out of swarms of enemies. I'm almost positive you can play co-op as well.

And I just watched a trailer for Crimson Alliance, which is supposed to be the final game in the Summer of Arcade lineup and it looks like it might be the best one, besides maybe Bastion. It's a straight up dungeon crawler type game which has quickly become one of my favorite genres recently. It actually looks like a replica of Dungeon Hunter:Alliance.

ME2 DLC is on sale this week.

"Lair of the Shadow Broker" and "Kasumi's Stolen Memory" are 280 points apiece (50% off) and "The Arrival" is 400 points (50% off).

That Crazy Twisted Shadow Planet or whatever it's called has my serious attention too. Now, for Crimson Alliance, if I don't buy Fruit Ninja and instead buy it, do I benefit at all? I know if you buy the first 5 you get CA for free, but it seems decidedly Microsoft-like even for Microsoft to punish you for not having a Kinect.

It's pretty much bullshit including a Kinect-only game in the lineup and then offer the CA deal. They could've just as easily put in Trenched and started it earlier (like they should've, starting in mid to late July is dumb) or any number of other games. Instead they stick that bullshit game in there.

I just watched a video for Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and it looks like a ripoff of the PixelJunk Shooter games. It looks cool but ifI that is the case why is it $15? Am I missing something?

I think it's similar to that, I'm not sure. I know I've been highly looking forward to it since I first saw it. I'm a little undecided on From Dust, though. I got Bastion last week but haven't played it because of NCAA, and I'm definitely getting ITSP next week, and then Crimson Alliance when it comes out.

From Dust got very solid reviews, I'm just not sure it's something I would be able to play longer than 20 minutes.

OMG. I just read on Joystiq that the Deal of the Week for next week will be a $3 discount on changing your gamertag. $7 instead of the usual $10. So people like MVPete can basically get three changes for the price of two.

LOL MS. Worst Live "deal" ever?
