For those that don't know, voting began the 22nd for the best Playstaion games of 2011. You go into the PS Store to vote. There are four categories: Best Exclusive, Best PSP, Best PS3 and Best Mini. The winner in each category will be discounted.

So of course I voted for Pac-Man CE DX and Dead Nation because I don't have them and want them. :whistle:

The voting has ended and it says the results will be in on March 7th.

As for the latest PSN Store updates:

Severed DLC for Dead Space 2
Lamborghini pack add-on for NFS Hot Pursuit
Sonic 1 (free for PS+), the first of the Genesis Collection games
PixelJunk Shooter 2
MLB 2K11 demo (even though we all thought it would never show up)

It looks like Castle Crashers, Ghost of Sparta and Dead Nation won their respective categories.

Plus it looks like the Black Ops maps are finally out for PS3.

I'm downloading DN now (only $7.50 for PS+) and the MK demo.

That first version of the update 2.56 made it so if your hard drive bricked that you couldn't put a new one in. They quietly released a 2nd version of 2.56 that fixed it and most people never even realized there was even a problem. There are about 2,000 people according to some threads with broken ps3s. The problem lies in the fact that the ps3 broke before I could install that 2nd patch.

Oh, ok. That makes more sense. Well, actually it doesn't because an update should never fuck up someones console. But I understand what you were saying now.

Dead Nation is pretty bad ass. I completed the first two levels. It seems like it could be pretty lengthy. At least five hours. Now I want to try co-op.

I can't recommend this game enough. For $10 it's a no brainer. For $7.50 you should honestly walk in front of a bus if you don't buy it. Ha.
