I don't see the big deal, don't wanna pay the extra $10, cool... then don't. Who cares. They are well in their rights to charge whatever the fuck they want. I don't think $10 is that much of a ridiculous upgrade if they add ESPN and it turns out okay.

Video games and services got a whole lot less fun after I joined online communities. All people do is hate on this, or hate on that, or "the other one is better", or "the game needs to have this".

Just fucking enjoy shit for what it is, if you don't think it's worth it, don't buy it and shut the fuck up. Nobody is forcing anyone to pay 60 bucks a year for XBL, so this isn't a big deal.

i think the extra pricing is BS. On one hand you have $60 XBL service vs PS3 free service. Both offer the same crap. XBL just offers more crap. so what are you paying for?

i feel like the guy with the 100K gamerscore. MS may have added things to the service, but if i dont use them then its no longer worth it to pay for their online service. All I care about is playing my games online with friends. Its not worth it to pay extra just for that option. honestly, it was never worth to pay at all for that option. I can find new friends on PS3 and play for free.

There are 2 reasons why i play games on the 360 over the ps3....1 is my friends, 2 is the achievement system

other than playing shooters with friends, i really dont play much online. And i can live without the achievements. the only difference between sony/XBL online gaming is XBL has better messaging and better invite system

I wont pay that extra price cause its not worth it. I will only renew if i can find a deal

Even though I really don't see the big deal over it since everything else in this world has gone up I kinda find it odd MS would do this after on the other side of their business the PC software side they've discovered that making products cheaper means more sales and less pirating.

Although these are the same people that thrive on games like Halo and Gears of War to lead their business yet thought it was a good idea to make and showcase Kinect which involved showing a little girl playing with some fake ass dog named snuggles or some shit.
