Leafs offseason training! -
Agreed on the rosters. At least you guys can play a game though. I haven't been able to play a 1v1 game online in weeks. It disco's me every time right after the load screen. Fucking weird.
I'm trying to get into Be A GM Mode but I suck really bad so I need to tweak some sliders. Might just start over once a roster update comes out, as I'm like 4-10 with the Rangers so far.

As I was saying to Leaf last night, the Maple Leafs roster is nothing like the real one now. The Leafs probably have the biggest fan base and you have to figure there are a ton of people waiting for that roster to be real to start offline stuff.
Although I have been playing as the leafs online a lot lately, and I have just been tooling up teams like crazy. There defence is just a lot of fun to play with because you just punish everyone.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

So I have been on this kick as of late of playing as the leafs. My last 4 games
Me 7 - Tampa Bay 2 (DNF WIN)
Me 4 - Buffalo 0 (DNF WIN) (he had 3 shots when he quit with 10minutes in third)
Me 6 - Montreal 3 (DNF WIN)
Me 4 - Minnesota 0 (DNF WIN)

Our EASHL team played all our playoff games last night. Won the championship. Playoff atmosphere is a nice touch. We didn't get any celebration after the final game, and didn't play another game after so I don't know if teams see a banner or not, or do you have to be a certain rank to do it.

Haven't even put NHL in lately. The inability to play online games has really hindered my want to play. I really suck vs. the CPU and with the rosters out of whack I want to restart my Be A GM Mode anyway.Comment

Supposedly the update will be out Tuesday. I was reading on the EA Forum about it and EA said it was in the hands of MS/Sony a few days ago. Then, they posted I believe it was today that the EA team will be working on the rosters all weekend. So something isn't right about what they're saying. So don't hold your breath for this roster update to be out Tuesday.

A few weeks ago a buddy and I played the Pro Play-Off Champs and only lost by 1 since they weren't that good, then the other night we got matched up with the Elite play-off champs, and we had been on a losing streak and not scoring much so I just quit out haha.
EDIT- my buddy and I just beat the Amateur champs....they sucked haha.
