I think so. Those comments were taken from a majority consensus I read on the killzone forums (save for the KZ loverboys who said everything was perfect)
for me it wasn't that bad online as everything seemed responsive except for when you have to strafe right or left as it just seems their is a pause before you actually get going.
in regards to my wonky controls comment I'm talking about all the actions like shooting and aiming and throwing a grenade. Whenever you enter an action it feels slightly unnatural, both how long the animation goes and the speed of how it occurs. and imo the shooting is bleh for me as it feels like your holding a brick but as soon as you start firing it turns into a light piece of sponge that you can maneuver wherever pretty fast.
