So I finally got 100% in L.A. Noire and got my coveted Platinum trophy.
I played another chapter of Bulletstorm and there isn't anything about that game that is intriguing me. I'm totally happy with playing a chapter at a time which is completely unlike me. It's still way early though so hopefully it gets better.Comment

I started MotorStorm: Apocalypse and Donkey Kong Country Returns last night. I'm not sure why because I leave for a week tomorrow but oh well. Both games seem pretty awesome though.
All the destruction and craziness going on in MS is just nuts. I also like how they added collectible cards and hpwe they have the trophy progress counter pop up in the bottom right corner, ala the achievement counter in Gears of War 2.
DKCR is just an awesome classic platformer. It doesn't hurt that it is probably the best looking game I've seen on the Wii. It's going to be quite a challenge, but I'm sure plenty of fun, finding all the hidden KONG letters and other collectibles.Comment

DKCR is a great game but one thing pisses me off. You spend a good amount of your coins in Crank Kong's shop for these "upgrades" but you only get to use them on one level. Example: You can buy a life upgrade that give you an extra heart, meaning you can take an extra hit. You normally only have two hearts meaning three hits and you're dead. But it only lasts ONE LEVEL and it costs like 30 coins or something crazy.
I just finished World 2 and the game is already getting tough. The tidal wave level was a bitch.Comment

I'm pretty much hooked on MLB Bobblehead Pros.
And the wife and I started Hunted: The Demon's Forge last night. We didn't get far but I'm not very impressed at all. There just seem to be graphical glitches here and there. The graphics themselves look very dated. The split-screen is pretty disappointing because it doesn't take full advantage of the screen. There are these bars on both sides. It's like I'm playing on a 25-27" screen which is tough when you're use to playing on a 61".Comment

LOL, no. It honestly strains my eyes. You know how you become so accustomed to something? Like HD for instance. Any time I see something in standard def it hurts my eyes. I'm so accustomed to seeing games on my size tv that when it's shrunk so significantly it's off putting.Comment
