Also, holy shit you guyz, you weren't kidding about RttS. That shit is addicting as fuck! I suck huge donkey balls (batting like .200 with no HRs and 5 RBIs with my SS) but it's still a blast.

Okay, the fun factor of RttS is starting to wear off. It's so fucking hard to hit. I get that it shouldn't be as easy as the HR Derby but come fucking on. I've even adjusted several sliders to make things easier and it's still ridiculous. My player is batting like .150 and seems to have been relegated to a pinch hitting role. Of course when you suck you can't earn any points for training, not that training seems to do fuck all anyway. Unless I'm doing something wrong?
I've even played a few exhibition games and strike out 15-18 times per games. There are times where I'm like "I know I should've at least made contact" but, nope, whiff. Not fun at all.Comment

That's my problem with baseball games, I have absolutely no plate discipline which leads to me getting frustrated haha.Comment

I think your confused....zone hitting is using the analog stick but you have to point the analog stick to where the ball is and press the X or O button to hit it (timing). I also dont use that dumb yellow circle indicator in the middle of the screen.
I think you use zone plus where you have to pull the analog stick back and forward.....no I dont use that.Comment

I have always played where I have to point to where the ball is to get a hit.....I cant break the habit so I like to use it......but yeah it is harder.Comment

To each his own I guess. I mean you like using inverted crap as well lol. J/k, but seriously.Comment

It's definitely tougher on the Vita, but I just can't use anything else for sports games that offer it on the consoles. Just makes much sense to me, feels more real-life (not sure if that's the phrase I want to use) than pressing a button.

The sticks might be better for this game though because charging up a throw with a button seems easy but the response seems so delayed. I can't tell you ho many times runners were safe because my player just holds the ball like a dick head before going into his throwing animation.Comment

I did drop the hitting level down from Veteran to All-Star, or vice versa, and seem to be doing a bit better. I did hit my first HR (it felt soooooooo good) and I'm hitting around .220 now. I still can't really get the timing down though. I swear I'm either way out in front of even fastballs, but when I do try to wait I'm way late and either foul the pitch off or hit it to righty field (I'm a right handed hitter). There doesn't seem to be any in-betwen.
The training points scoring system is really pissing me off too. The inconsistency is a joke. I once hit a triple with an RBI that tied up the game in the bottom of the 8th and I only got 18 points. 18 POINTS!!! I've gotten 18 points on singles up the middle in the middle of the game.Comment
