Def worth it, there's so much to do it can be a little overwhelming at 1st because you don't know where to go. I'd say start off with some guild missions, like theives guild if sneaking is your thing, or warriors guild if your a fighter ect. Those get you out seeing different stuff and doing different things in the game. There's so much to do i never finished more than 10% of the story and i put in like 80hrs.
Going to rent Morrowind GOTY from gamefly, then buy the new oblivion package that's coming out June 28th hopefully I finish both games before skyrim comes out.

Do you realize how long those games are? I mean i guess if you start tomorrow, and don't sleep, you could prob finish morrowind and some of oblivion by nov 11th. Your talkin around 100hrs of game each, without the DLC that comes with the game of the year edition of oblivion. You COULD just plow through the
"main" quest. But you really would just miss out on everything the games have to offer if you did that.
Damn I need to get my ass to Target. You got GOTY Fallout 3 for 14 bucks? I wonder if that's for all Targets..
Target clearance are store specific. However, if a game is on clearance at one store, it will go on clearance at all stores but the price may not be the same at the same time. For example, I picked up BioShock 2 for $7.48 and someone else found it at their store for $3.75 (based off post in CAG.com).

I knew this would be a problem this is why I'm sketchy on getting this game or not. Should I play the others or just try to play skyrim?
any noober tips for oblivion? im just out of the tutorial cave and the first thing im supposed to do is drop off the amulet in wayland (cant recall the cities name)
when i played this back in 06 i was a noob to the entire RPG genre so the scope of the game and the meaning behind the skills ect ect really were beyond what i felt like dealing with. Now that i am more experienced with RPGs i have a better feel and understanding for an RPG like this one. i do still feel a bit lost now that im in the world
any tips on what to do as a starting point. im playing as a mage so finding the mage guild will be nice
