I'm planning on two Miscellaneous quests and then off to the Greybeards.


And I'm serious, is a house worth buying? Almost have my 5000 saved up to buy the one in Whiterun.

It is faster than walking. I've almost been to every major city so I've been fast traveling to the cities and then using my horse to get to the quests.

Until I have enough for a house to store them in I'm going to keep selling them. They may be used for armor/weapons later on, not sure.

I have just been storing my shit in a barrel outside one of the houses on White Run lol.

I have not even really scratched the surface of quests yet. I think I might have done like 2 because of how much I have just been exploring around.

Today/yesterday (it's 2 AM now) I stole a horse and traveled all over, discovering camps, caves, and all sorts of shit OMW to other cities. Just riding around and discovering crap that I can fast travel back to them later on. I figure this will save me hours of walking later. Besides, the horse really helped me get to the greybeards and all that jazz.

 

Until the mountain yeti jumped down and killed my horse. But I took out my Wabbajack (badass staff that does random shit. Very fun.) I turned him into a chicken and slow walked away laughing.

So I just completed "Then Break Of Dawn" quest, and I lost my companion/follower. Don't take your companion/follower down into the catacombs of Kilkreath Ruins or else they will get stuck there.

When you clear the room and activate the final pedestal, you are teleported into the sky and your companion is left in the catacombs. The worst part is the door to unlock the catacombs can only be opened during the quest. There is no key, there is no way to gain access to the room again. So my companion is stuck in there.

I've tried fast traveling, sleeping for 24 hours. I've tried going back into Kilkreath Ruins to open the door. I've waited for 3 days now in the game and she still hasn't shown up. To top it all off, I got to ask another companion to follow me, and she says "looks like you already got somebody following you." I look around behind me and I'm like WTF bitch, do you see anybody else around? Fuckin Bethesda, it's a really good game, but this is just another shitty glitch that diminishes the game. I just spent 3k on her armor/weapons dammit! Fuck you Skyrim! Fuck you!

I lost my badass morph companion after we endured many missions tonight. He was killed by a giant spider. RIP Beldwan (I think that was your name).

Don't bring your companions with you if you do the "The Break Of Dawn" quest.

The spoiler isn't a big deal, won't ruin the game for you...not anymore then losing the companion that I just spent 3k in armor/weapons for ruined mine.

 

The Kilkreath Ruins are pretty easy to fight through. The floating skeletons typically come 2 in a room anyhow. Easily taken down with a few arrows and a some swings of the sword. You'll be able to get through this without your companion, but the boss fight is pretty tough...unless you have the Wabbajack!
