No joke. 2 hours is enough time to take a quick walk and kill a few wolves, upgrade a stat or two, sell some stuff, make some potions and talk to some town folk. You won't even get a quest started in 2 hours!

Well if you want to do some side stuff like the mentioned crafting aspects, or just a wee bit of wandering about a small area, sure.

But my save is currently in the midst of exploring a totally new area to me and doing a couple big quests, so I'll need a big time block for when I next sink my teeth in.

Kinda awesome that with 19hours played, I've seen like 5% of the world.

Helgen/Riverwood/Whiterun and areas inbetween. Took a carriage (aka fast travel) to Winterhold, visited the College, then have quested/journeyed west to Dawnstar, then to Solitude. That's all I've done.

Then I look at the map and realize how fucking little I've seen.

Yeah, I'm REAL happy about not using the fast travel yet. I'm sure I will eventually. But the other day I went from Winterhold to the Moss Caverns (far right of the map to the far left) for a quest. Took me 3 hours to get there with all the exploring and walking and getting killed by some random dragon. Normally I'd say screw that but I don't mind it at all in this game.

Yep. I feel like I'm missing out on things the game have to offer by warping around the world.

The unscripted dragon AI, radiant technology generating randomness....I mean why warp anywhere? Something awesome can happen everywhere you go.

I know for sure I am filling up archery with every perk and then just sprinkling the rest in those other main ones.
I wasted some perks too, so I just went onto the Internet and looked up the Perk codes and cheated by adding some extra perks to my character to make up for the ones I wasted early on.

Also, player.setav will set a skill to a certain level. I'm very careful with this one cause you will mess up your character leveling if you set the skills with the cheat instead of advancing normally.

LOL that sounds awesome. I'm gonna fucking head straight to a Talos shrine after every vampire encounter. One 8 hour sidetrack from Oblivion was enough for me.

Kind of cool for people that want to plan out a certain build/character. Calculate the amount of perks you will need ahead of time and aren't at home.

All you have to do is find a hunters camp and feed. Vampire's are leveled in stages 1-4. 1 being you just fed. If you starve yourself of blood you get to stage 4 which offers the most stat increases, but everyone is hostile to you.
