i cant seem to advance the quest or complete the 2 objectives currently up. one says examine the crime scene and the other says get assistance from Jarleif. when i talk to Jarleif he just has his normal dialog options come up. And when i examine the crime scene there is nothing happening there. I can hit a button to do anything and there doesnt seem to be anything out of the ordinary.

Anyone know if this is a glitch or if there is something i am not doing right?
I've had this happen a couple of times, the game wouldn't advance forward for me to do anything so i had to restart from my previous saved game. It sucked.

This Dragon Word expedition has brought some pretty interesting/hilarious moments. Like sneaking up on a sleeping dragon for instance or getting caught in this asshole's trap and then proceeding to shoot him through the cage with arrows/destruction magic, picking the lock and finding more out about this guy's past victims in his personal journal:

The trap consists of a trap door (Rancor style) you fall into, he had a problem early on in his twisted trap cause the fall was too much and all his victims were all dying instantly. He remedied this by filling the pit up with a good foot or two of water, after doing so his next victim broke his legs and arms in the fall so he just drowned in the water. Luckily all these dead bodies were there to break my fall.

I was on my way to the Mage College (finally made it there) when I got ambushed by a dragon and some kind of sorcerer enemy....that did not end well for me so I made sure to avoid that section of the map when I ran through it again haha.

nothing wrong with that. i am surprised at these guys bragging about how efficient they play. there is nothing wrong with that either but it clearly shows they are just running through the quests without taking in the full game experience

I'm level 11 and I've had two fly up on me now. The most recent was just outside the College. So there is now a dragon carcass rotting in the middle of the college courtyard. Just in case anyone doubts my badassery level at that place... "Yeah, that was me..."

If you walk around the wild, you'll occasionally come across a dragon that is guarding a shout. I think the further a long in the main quest you get the more you see. I usually always run into some random dragon now.

Just had my second dragon drop on me while at the college. That last two times I came here to steal soul gems and work on enchanting, a frost dragon drops on me.

And is it me or are dragons dropping better and better loot the more you slay?

This one had 336 gold, elven guild armor, an emerald, and an elven sword, along with the typical 3 bones and 3 scales.

The one I killed last night has surprisingly better loot as well.

Ok fuck it, I'm just pissed I spend too many perks on stupid shit in my first few days of playing this game now. So much so that I'm starting over.
