Fuck you, bitch ass house mage. I'm the arch mage. I would turn you into pudding...

This is one thing I wish they would fix. Do these people look at you before talking? I'm the Dragonborn, bitch! None stand against me.
    This is a good point.

I went into a cave and found a guy locked up. He tells me I have to kill someone to get the key and let him out. I do so and then he pulls out a dagger and tells me to give up my stuff. Meanwhile I am standing there in a full set of dragon armor and have a badass mace and shield along with my companion who is also geared up.

I proceeded to kill him in one shot.

interesting discussion in regards to the racials, but for what its worth, without the nordic battlecry, i would have been totally fucked in a few different places. Companion quests come to mind, but there are several battles on Master difficulty where I was literally a one shot kill even in my souped up blacksmithing armors, and my nordic battlecry sent the bitch into a corner like a little girl while I wailed on him. it was the difference between a slow motion kill, a vulgarity, and a reload, or a looted corpse smiling as i mapped back to dragonsreach for a disenchant.

the starting skills are irrelevent, but the racial abilities/resists are important.

Dark Elf I always forget my racial skill, plus I could just buy flame cloak spell and do it whenever I want.

Woah... Just Finished the mainquest where you do the thing with the bad guy. Blown away, that and the events leading up to it were incredible.

yah - thats what i trying to say.

hate to say again but this game reminds plenty of World of Warcraft when it comes to these things too.

Okay, so I'm trying to lay on some game-breaking enchantments but I'm running into a slight issue. So if I disenchant an item to learn the enchantment, can I only ever do it at that level? If I learn the enchantment to give a 10 point or 10 percent increase, can I manage to exceed that. I managed to find an item with the same enchantment but much stronger and I can't disenchant it. Any way around this?

I'm not sure if you can because they are quest items. I know you can't store them.

its the same enchantment, so you cant disenchant it twice. if you had higher enchanting it would be the higher numbers, so the game regards it at as the same thing.

i think the trick is to fill up a shitload of petty soul gems when you are still a newer player and just enchant all the iron daggers you have laying around from blacksmithing ( i dont see the point in not wearing some kind of armor, so im assuming that you will have your smithing up ). you can get like 600gp from stamina daggers, so financially its worth it just to toss them in a box till you have the soul gems to level them.

I finished the main story line last night and now I'm about to start using some of the "god mode" glitches.

The best one that I've found so far involves a book from one of the Mages College quests and it lets you get 100 in all skills and boosts you to lvl 81. I have everything except heavy armor, 2 handed and blocking at 100 now and i'm terrorizing Skyrim. I haven't glitched up any armor or weapons to do crazy damage but I did craft some Daedric swords that do 165 damage each with my gloves and ring on.

Yeah, I have my smithing up. I have shit ton of filled soul gems too, as I made a glass bow and gave it a soul trap enchantment. So I guess I'll wait to do my armor until I get the skill up. I sold most of the crap I smithed to get the skill up but its not hard to create a few more.

                          Thanks.

iam finally forced to pick sides in the war. not because the story is forcing me to but because i want to buy the house in windhelm and it wont come available otherwise.

im leaning to the empire because the leader of the stormcloaks is racists against elves. and i am an elf
