If your connected to online it should prompt you to download the latest update. I'm on 360 and it won't even allow you to stay on Live if you don't download the new patches. Others can help me on this, but I believe it's the same thing with the PS3?

Is it freezing in the same spot each time or just random? What are you doing when the game freezes?

It freezes at random times. I can't do anything but turn the back switch off when it freezes.

This game has so many bugs:

If you complete all five favors before being given the quest to do so. The quest will not update correctly, leaving you with a quest entry "Assist the People of Haafingar 5/5" To fix this on PC open the console and select a NPC in Solitude and enter the console command "setRelationshipRank player 2" This should update the quest 6/5 and change its status to complete.

Didn't wanna put this game down last night. Had to because I had to get some sleep. Literally can't wait until I get off work so I can play it again.

I've been lucky. Just 1 freeze slowdown a few times and one glitch that made me have to reload. I paralyzed an enemy right before she teleported and she came out on the other end permanently paralyzed and unable to take any damage. So she was just laying on the floor like a rock.

I still have that problem and Im like level 28. I'll try and do one quest, and in the process, end up with 5 extra active quests by the time I'm done.

Yeah, I wanna tell people to fuck off... but then I don't want to not be able to find them later on so I just accept their shit

i only did 4 main quests. but im up to 194 side and misc quests complete. i will eventually get back to the main quest...but while alot of misc quests are not full of depth, alot of them are

crimson....just stick to the main story for now. you will know when u can break away from it...after the beginning tutorial u do a few main quests that still provide you with a break in period which is pretty stright forward.....u wil notice when it fully opens up

You need to buy a house so you can store things there. Storing items in random locations, you have a chance of your stuff disappearing.

had a drinking contest with some dude in riften, woke up in markarth(sp). god fucking dammit all those quests there took fucking forever. quick rundown on my character

dark elf, level 19
top skills: archery-41, sneak-39, illusion-37, one handed-36, light armor 40, destruction 38.

also whats the point of upgrading lockpicking perk tree? that shit is easy

no reason to have perks for lockpick. expert and master locks get tough, but not to the point where u need a perk. plus i always have over 99 lockpicks so i dont care if i break them...not to mention u level up the skill by breaking picks
