Lock picking is really not worth putting anything into, particularly if you never "finish" the Thieve's Guild quest and keep the item that you find (if you finish it you have to give it up).

Gonna start going solo unless I know I'm going to go fight a dragon / big fight. My companions just make it easier for me to get detected.

I have 100 sneak, every sneak perk. Shadow Stone power. Throw voice shout. My guy is near impossible to spot. Muffled boots, muffle spell. Last step is getting my illusion skill a bit higher.

Still get killed sometimes by basic enemies like cave bears one on one.

I fucking need companions... been riding solo nonstop. Got raped by Dragons felt like it was a bug... fought a dragon up at a burial ground, fought some crazy thing where you learn one of the shouts like 50 feet away from the dragon, look up and get attacked by a frost dragon and then another dragon starts circling, fight him, get back to riverwood and get attacked by another dragon, all in like a 15-20 minute sequence... died... didn't save between fighting dragons... got pissed... turned off lol

nah, you just need to join a guild. companions, mages, whatever. when you get walked to the room where new bloods sleep, thats the room you can put all your junk into. myself i dont even bother with houses until money becomes kinda irrelevent because its just a gold sink and i can use guild house boxes.

I just let my companion go. I had Entrandur(I think that's how you spell his name) and that fucker always notified the enemy. So, I left him in a room on a sneak mission and never went back for him. I eventually got a notification about him getting tired of waiting and leaving.

I'm currently a stealth archer. I don't know my stats off hand, but I'll share mine when I do.

Finished the Civil War storyline. Pretty sweet. Some of the quests were a ton of fun. I think I killed a little bit indiscriminantly - probably took down as many fellow Legionnaires as rebels. Ah well.

My character is at level 28. Got a lot of my skills above 50, with speech above 80 and smithing at 70.

Just started Thieves Guild and still have not done the main story line mission after seeing greybeards.

Has everyone heard/seen this? It is from a month back, but I'm late to the Skyrim world. Man, this is a great cover.

Dragons are eazy peazy to kill. I'm only like level 18. I Just use Unrelenting Force to shout them out of the fucking sky or wait till they land and then slash the shit out of them with my double blades swords.

heh on my stealther i straight up lost my companion. my stealther is also a vampire so i imagine shes at one of the inns somewhere i told her to sleep so i could feed on her. at this point though the thieves guild has sent me on so many missions that theres always someone with a door already picked that i can stop by and snack on. kind of a pain in the ass when you map across skyrim and you are nearly to stage 3 and need to feed, but the cold resist is money, and so are the illusion/sneak bonuses. the fire resist penalty is made up for by dark elf racial trait.

Yeah, I've found that too. I just passed the 100k mark as well and don't have tons to spend it on. Still have a couple of houses to buy but I've got three fully outfitted. I can't blow it very quickly on training, and I've even given up seeking cool enchanted items to buy to disenchant as there aren't many enchantments I haven't learned. I find I'm moving through places much quicker, as I'm not being as careful to check every corner for loot.
