Yes, its a Restoration spell called, Heal Other

Heal Other is an Adept-level Restoration spell in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that heals the target 75 points. It cannot heal undead creatures, atronachs, or machines. Restoration Dual Casting - doubles the effects of Heal Other when cast in both hands. Regeneration - all healing spells recover 50% more health. Respite - healing spells also restore Stamina. Adept Restoration - cast Adept-level healing spells for half the magicka. Weight: 1 Value: 300 See Spell Tome for a complete table of spell

you both are correct. healing hands is a lower level spell....heal other is a mid level

fyi the one you really want is grand healing. it will heal you and your companions at the same time....with the 2 previously mentioned, they only heal your target and you need another one for yourself...grand healing does it all in one shot

So checking out that wiki, I just discovered that if you collect all the dragon priest masks, there is actually something you can do with them. Sweetness. Once I'm a good 70-80 hours into this new game, I can give that a try...

Dragon Bridge is probably my favorite little community in Skyrim.

So I finally started the game and two hours later I can see why everyone is addicted to it. I wasn't a fan of Oblivion, found it started way too slow for me (as stated before...didn't even get out of tutorial). This games tutorial had more action. I'm still trying to understand what I'm supposed to do and how to get additional quests. Are quest given if you just go up to a person and talk to them? So far I'm on the quest to get the Dragonstone and it's telling me to join the Imperials or Companions. How many groups are there and do you have to join (how far can you get w/o joining in the game)?

Talk to most anyone you see and they'll give you a quest. Some NPC's talk to you but don't give you dialogue options but Bartenders always have quests for you.

Make sure you go to mines and get iron ore, find a smelter and turn them into ingots and take them to a forge and get your smithing up. Always take animal pelts too if you kill them. They are great for turning into leather and leather straps on a tanning rock.

Whiterun IMO is the centerpiece of forging for me.

Quests and quest-lines start in all kind of different ways. A lot of times, its talking to someone - whether its a shop-keeper or whoever. In the shop in the first small town you went into as the part of the opening sequencve, you walk in on the merchant and his sister sister discussing the issue he will offer you as a quest. Someone (maybe the smith in Whiterun) will mention that you should look into joining the Companions. If you go into Riften, someone will mention about you joining the Thieves Guild.

The Stormcloaks and Imperial Legion are opposite sides in a major quest-chain. You pick one or the other. Any other group you join doesn't exclude you from joining others. They are the Mage's College, Companions, Dark Brotherhood, and Thieves Guild. They all offer a series of quests plus endless radiant quests.

So I am beyond fucking pissed right now.

I fucking started the College of Winterhold quests and just did the part where I found that orb thing and was told to go back to the college and tell the head guy. When I get to the college, everything is good. I go up to the arch mage and tell him to go look at the orb. I complete the quest, and start a new one. As soon as I fucking step foot outside into the courtyard time thing I immediately keep fucking getting attacked by the teachers and shit. I have no fucking clue why, either. I am about over this game and it's bullshit glitches.

                          Fuck this game.

Don't worry, by the time you can actually do the quest, you're basically so over-powered that the reward isn't that big of a deal.

But yes, I agree, it's fucking stupid that you can drop the masks.
