I'm down to play sometime in the future, like Pad mentioned, when Armored Kill comes out.
Got no reason to slum with pubbies if I'm not in the mood to grind for vehicle parts or Recon guns I'll never use.Comment

Get everything for $59.99
Full price of the game is still $30 new I believe, so you would really be saving money to just wait for Premium edition and get that.
Even if you found it new for $20, you would still be paying $70 all together for Premium.

Well, you know there's most likely going to be a price drop for the vanilla BF3 copies starting next week, and once that happens, you could use that $30 off coupon from @Gamer to flip a PS3 copy to help pay for the DLC.Comment

I played some Armored Kill. I can't really say much about the maps because it seems every server admin has a hard-on for Death Valley (the night map). All but one of the servers I joined had the admins actively putting the map on a loop, and the game froze the only time I was able to play on another map. I did like Death Valley FWIW.
As for the new game mode, I really don't like the fact that you can't spawn on squadmates in Tank Superiority. IMO the best strategy for this mode would be for most people to roll in two-man teams where at least one person in the vehicle is an engineer able to repair when necessary. Instead, what happens is that the players who spawn closest to the vehicles at the beginning of the match usually hop in and drive off before anyone can jump in, and they pretty much keep it the entire time because the vehicles have instant respawn after they get blown up. You essentially have half the team driving their own vehicles around while the other half is left hoofing it around a large map.
The only new vehicles I had a chance to try were the SPRUT-SD and the quad. The SPRUT is tiny as hell, and it was nice making some big jumps with the quad again.Comment

I would still own it if it wasn't for this. I was just about to post that I miss this game until I saw your post and realized shit is still the same.Comment
