Chapter 2 drags a bit but you should go back and plow through it. Chapter 3 is only a few hours long if that.

I'm liking all the different things that are going on so far in chapter 2. The burning at the stake, the curse, the conspiracy. And fuck, that cave system was a lot of fun to explore.

Finally lifted the curse on King Henselt and fought the two kingslayer assassins. That was a fun quest, lots of traveling and exploring. Up to level 20 now (doing all swordsmanship right now). Not sure what quest I'll start up tomorrow. Probably do a few of these little side quests. Seems like most of these bigger quests all require me to see what the two kingslayers were up to. Still absolutely loving this game btw.

About to take on the Vandergrift. Oh dear lord...

EDIT: After getting my ass handed to me a few times, I finally figured out what to do, and Vandergrift was easy as hell to bring down.

            Just finished up Ch. 2.

I let Roche kill that mother fucker, Henselt. You don't rape my lady friends and walk away from it.

I have a feeling that shit is going to hit the fan in Loc Muinne.

I love the difficulty level of this game. It's quite a bit tougher than most games, but it's not bang your head against a wall hard like Dark Souls (which I still enjoy btw).

Whoever designed the layout of Loc Muinne should be kicked in the fucking balls.

Finished the game. Wasn't planning on playing the Epilogue tonight, but I just couldn't stop lol. Fucking great game. Lots of decisions to make, some epic battles and a good story. I really hope that Witcher 1 gets ported over for next-gen, b/c I want to play it so bad before Wild Hunt comes out. One of the things about this game that makes it so great is the difficulty level, and I know I've mentioned it before, but it's nice to have a game that you can't just walk straight through without ever coming across a difficult moment. It's not insanely tough, but it's tough enough to where you'll still die quite a few times and you'll have to think about how to go at some fights. Like I said, great story though. I actually enjoyed all of the backstory and the lore. Btw, Triss is quite lovely. She goes in my top 5 for video game ladies. BRING ON THE WITCHER 3: THE WILD HUNT!!! I can't wait to be able to openly explore the entire land as a whole.

                Swarley's Score: 9/10

I helped Roche save the girl. We beat the shit out of Dethmold and Roche cut his nuts off. I talked Roche into handing the girl over to the Temarians. Seemed like the right thing to do. I killed the dragon. It was in pain and I didn't want those fuckers to keep control of it. Then, finally, I killed Letho.

I just messed around a bit to find some good settings, and this game looks gorgeous even on medium. Can't wait to get started.
