If you’re been waiting for a killer Vita sale, then you’re in luck as BestBuy has one of the best so far. Starting today you can pick up a Vita (Wifi or 3G) for MSRP and get a free game. The games are limited to MLB 12 The Show, ModNation Racers, Uncharted Golden Abyss and Unit 13, but these are some good quality titles. Additionally the online site lists the launch 3G bundle, which is packaged with a 8GB memory card. While this is a pretty good deal, there is a final more interesting item.

If you happen to jump on this deal, then you will also be given a 3 month Playstation Plus membership. This is quite odd as there is currently nothing offered for Vita users besides avatars and the odd PSP sales. Naturally it most likely means nothing, but with E3 a month away and the accidently Playstation 1 title being found on the PSN Store, this could be a subtle nudge in that direction.

While this is more than enough to motivate some people to adopt the Vita, this weekend there is also double reward zone points. This means you will score 500+ points or a $10 certificate.

You can buy whatever you want but you have to add money to your wallet in 5$ increments. So, if you buy something for $15.99, you have to put in $20. The remainder will stay in your wallet until next purchase

Yeah, what Garrett said. I'm not sure what you're talking about. The last I checked you could add money to your PSN "wallet" in increments up to $50.

I got MK for Vita after passing on the console version when it came out last year. Enjoying it. Graphically, it's not great, but it's a blast to play. I believe the console version got good reviews and the Vita should be no different...it is great to see a good MK game again after all the crap MK titles that have come out over the past decade or so. The Vita minigame additions like a FruitNinja type game but with severed heads, tapping Cyrax and Sektor's rockets before they hit you, balancing, etc, are fun and what they should be - minigames that you aren't required to play if you don't want to.

For those of you who want to test your might at any moment, no matter where you are, Amazon has a deal to help you out. Right now, if you purchase the Wi-Fi model of the PS Vita, you'll get a free copy of Mortal Kombat, along with a 4GB memory card – which will hold you over just fine until you order a more reasonably-sized card.

Mortal Kombat seems like an odd choice for a console pack-in, given its status as both a port and a super-gross violent game, but it is at least a good game! Prospective Vita owners have not always been so fortunate.

The best thing about the PSN is that you dont have to add $20 to buy something $18.69. You can literally add that exact amount. The only thing is it has to be $5 or more to add to your wallet.

As long as you're turning the system completely OFF before switching, you should be fine.

I was traded to the Orioles today (Baysox). I always get traded to the Orioles, in every iteration of The Show .

I also hit my first ever inside the park home run. I couldn't watch the replay though because the game advanced to the end after the play . But, I was shocked to see the third base coach still waving me around. I'm thinking, "You know I can't run fast, right?"

I got to play against the O's at Camden Yards and was able to have a good series. I still haven't dived into The Show '12 because of the patches messing up the game. I just picked up '11 2 nights ago and in Spring Training for the 2019 season. Rangers Ballpark and Orioles Park were near the same in HR/game in 2012...0.890 and 0.780 respectively.

I have only been play RTTS on Vita and not touched the PS3 version in forever. What did the patch mess up?

Forgot this was the Vita thread. The patch has caused freezing issues with Franchise and RTTS...also the last patch messed up the cloud saves.
