Yeah, the framerate during play calling and cut scenes is pretty horrible.

Which is kind of suprising considering the actual gameplay itself is pretty smooth.

I don't know what the deal is. I think I remember the play calling screens being sluggish as shit on the 360/PS3 version as recently as a few years ago too. You would think that would use the least resources because you don't have a bunch of shit moving on the screen at once.

Apparently that Amazon price was a one day thing or something because now it's back to $40. Of course. I was waiting for those dicks to ship my Sleeping Dogs so I could use the $10 credit from that on Madden Vita. But nope. They still haven't shipped it. Amazon has been disappointing me lately.

Newegg has been pretty good for me the last 2 times. I picked free shipping for Sleeping Dogs and got it in today (a day earlier than expected). They might have a distribution center in/nearby Texas.

I played another game of Madden....the problem is the game is too damned laggy. It is like when I play online and I hit x to pick a play and nothing happens. The game in general is laggy. I hope it is just demo because that is a deal breaker.

Maybe I think it's the norm that it's not evident to me. I like the idea of having a football game that has good presentation on the go. Also once I got used to the touchscreen, it has made changes at the line even easier. I hadn't played the Vita for awhile now but the last couple of days, I have had it by the side of the bed and while the wife is using her iPad, I'm playing The Show and Madden demo.

Ya the gameplay itself has so much potential. But the sluggish menus and playcalling, really make the game unbearable at times. Hopefully it's just the demo. But I mean, how can the gameplay be decent, and those other parts just be so sluggish? Didn't they see that and test it and see that something isn't right? Again this is only the demo, so hopefully it's gone by the retail version. I won't get the game if this is not fixed.

LOL. Usually McElroy shits on teh PS3 (at least he did back when there was a Joystiq podcast) but he apparently loves the Vita. So much so that he is encouraging people to buy it instead of the soon to be released 3DS XL. It's funny how fired up he got the Nintendo fanboys.

Has anyone else had any issues with The Show? I just had this happen for the third time I think. I get a pop up saying "There has been an error with application...MLB The Show" and I have to close it and restart.

Finally started messing with the Content Mgr, after finding out it was out for Mac (OS). Pretty easy to use and was able to get some screenshots from The Show. Ceasar Campos, 1B/OF, drafted by SF Giants...playing for AA Richmond Flying Squirrels.

Got Madden in today. Played 2 games...1 Play Now and 1 Superstar game (as Case Keenum). Overall I liked the game but I started to update the roster; worried Case wouldn't be there in the update. It took me about an hour to just do the Bears and correct their jersey numbers. I'm hoping it comes easier with time. I had just started with the Bengals, when the Vita ran out of power and died.

Why are you updating the rosters manually? They already had one update that you can download and I'm sure they will have another one soon.

By the way, I'm really enjoying the game on Vita. Besides cutting the cross save feature I think this is an awesome first effort for the Vita.
