Plus Dave, one of the best "features", and I think we mentioned it on the podcast a few weeks back, is that you can just tap th epower button and it will put te Vita in sleep mode. Then when you're ready to go back to your game you just pick up right where you left off. And it seems to use almsot no battery.

I never listen to podcasts. I had no clue that feature exists. That's very Ps4. Holy crap. Now just gotta wait for a Vita/MLB The Show 13 bundle deal.

I thought they had one? You only save $20 though. Unless Canada got the hose job?

Acclaimed Indie Adventure Machinarium Coming to PS Vita March 26th

We’re thrilled to be bringing our acclaimed adventure title Machinarium to PS Vita. When the PS3 version was released, we called it the best version of the game. In it, we added lots of new features — like the ability to zoom in to get a closer look at the scene, magnetic hotspots, Trophies and more.

The Vita version makes no compromises. In fact, it’s even better! It includes all the enhancements from the PS3 version, but we’ve added some new features to complement PS Vita’s capabilities. You can now control the game not only with the system’s analog sticks and buttons, but also directly with your fingers on the touch screen and rear touch panel. We’ve improved the zoom feature too, so it’s more convenient to play the game in a portable capacity.

The graphics, music and sounds are presented at full quality, and everything runs smoothly and looks as beautiful as ever on Vita’s gorgeous 5″ OLED display. For the best audio experience, put on some nice headphones so you can fully enjoy the award-winning soundtrack by Floex.

We’ve also integrated PSN leaderboards: see how quickly you can finish the game, and how your time stacks up against the rest of the world (compete for the best scores in Machinarium’s minigames, as well).

All in all, we are very happy with the PS Vita version of Machinarium. It will be available on Tuesday, March 26th for $6.99; check out the Amanita blog, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest. Let us know what you think!

No Vita deal with MLB The Show 13 here in Canada. I would own a Vita right now if that deal was here.

Telltale’s The Walking Dead Coming to PlayStation Vita

Today, IGN can confirm that season one of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will be coming to PlayStation Vita this year.

In an interview with PlayStation’s Director of Product Planning and Platform Software Innovation Don Mesa, it was revealed that Telltale’s critical and commercial smash-hit adventure series would migrate to Sony’s new handheld.

“Having [a studio] like Telltale, a very successful indie developer, coming in to support us sends a strong message,” Mesa told IGN in an extensive interview about all things PlayStation Vita.

In talking about how the Vita could offer unique experiences, Mesa continued speaking about the Vita iteration of the game. "Again, a good example is with The Walking Dead. We think that the emotion and the immersive experiences you're going to get there, wherever you're sitting, if you're in your living room and playing on your Vita or sitting at a café or at the bus stop and playing this, you get that shock or fright. I think that's going to be important. That's what we want to deliver as you're playing."

The release window for The Walking Dead season one on PlayStation Vita has yet to be determined. It’s also unclear if it will be released episodically – as it was on PS3 – or all at once. However, you can rest assured that it’s coming.

Eh.....I find that is a game I play once and look at YouTube for any other experiences w/o changing my own. Like most games on Vita in PSN, I will wait till it's offered for free before thinking of playing it again. Doesn't sound like it's going to be any different from what I've played before.

I agree, although they might be able to do something cool with the touch screen and six axis stuff.

Releasing on 3DS and Vita the same day as the home console version, Blackgate is a completely separate experience that takes place after the events of Arkham Origins. Armature Studio is developing the 2.5-D Metroid-style exploration action game. Industry followers will recognize Armature Studio as the company founded by several of the leads from the Metroid Prime trilogy.
