I still have to play it but sometimes I feel that games journalists, because a lot of them are fucking hipsters, just like something because it's cool to like it. Usually a few of them like it because it's something new and different and because it's flying under the radar like this game. Then they chat with their industry friends and all come to a consensus that it's the best thing since sliced bread.
I love listening to the old Games Radar/Talk Radar guys now on the Laser Time podcast, but man if they all don't fall into that mold. Whether it's games, movies, books, whatever. They will nitpick the shit out of more popular stuff but the "industry darlings: if you will, always seem to get heaping amounts of praise.
