How would that work? The version you buy from GS is on disc. Any disc that you install on the HDD still needs to be spinning in the machine when you want to play the content. Just for this very reason.

The only thing you can do with the disc is install the content on the hard drive, its the equivalent to downloading it. Just pop in Oblivion and it loads it, you never need the Shivering Isles disc again.

I already did it once from borrowing it from my friend, but it was on my old HDD

Oh, ok. I guess with certain DLC type discs that would work.

For instance, when Forza 3 hits you have to install the second disc with all the extra content but you play it using the 1st disc.

I just read the IGN review for this game, 3.5/10. Yikes! This game is releasing with zero fanfare or hype. I remember years ago when it was first announced everyone was drooling over it.

Had the "Hype Machine" (tm) brought up the idea that the game was similar to Pokemon Snap, they might have gotten more sales...

Of course you can't pursuade a gamer fanbase that just wants to shoot and kill things to buy your game if you don't allow them to do so.

Game's probably rental worthy though.

Just don't open whatever game you want to exchange. I do that every year. Get a random game with the deal and then exchange it for something you want. I think TRU's policy is 45 days for exchanges.

If it is, you can't return it for another game.
