Rockstat almost makes it a point to be more ambitious with every iteration of the gta series, San Andreas added rpg aspects and featured a variety of locations n over the top fun. IV introduced multiplayer and brought a grittier ,more realistic, almost art house tone to the series, V is bringing the largest city yet, underwater open ocean elements, 3 simultaneous character narratives...and I'm not even including the scores of different side missions added to each iteration

Now I played MW, MW2, n MW 3...and I honestly can't tell the difference outside of the addition of killstreaks, spec ops, survival, n death streaks...

GTA is essentially the same foundation as the others but they always add so much more to it and change the tone of the series with every iteration, COD might as well skip the code names and add the year to it at this point.
Shit they've already run out of names I mean Call of Duty: Ghosts? When I think Call of Duty and Ghosts I think of some bitch hiding in the corner with a motion sensor.

This game looks and sounds like it is going to be incredibly fun, which is exactly what was needed to rectify the shortcomings of GTA IV.

So, this has probably already been posted in this thread before but I head on the Games Radar podcast they a few of them got to see the game actually being played on a console at a Rockstar even recently. They didn't mention which console and they said it was only about a half hour of gameplay that was not hands on. The thing that stuck out to me was the character swapping feature. They said that at any time you can actually zoom out from whichever of the tree characters you're controlling and then zoom in on one of the otherd and start taking on missions with tha character. They compared it to the swapping feature in Driver: SF, which for those that haven't played that highly underated and extremely fun game, is a pretty fucking awesome feature.

So could you kill another character if you wanted too? That would be pretty funny.

Of the main three? Highly doubt it. Although they did say that you could help them. For instance if you were doing a bank heist you could have one set up in a sniper position and habe another flank an enemy as you switch back and forth between the three.

For the physical items in the Collector's Edition, all that shit sucks except the blue print, which I can just get in the Special Edition for a lot less money.
