went to go see if twigg was right and I dont know what he is talking about.

unless you have no clue what game, video, or apps mean its quite easy to find whatever you want

for indies you just go to games then games marketplace and finally game type

Yup. If achievements or trophies never existed it would be a different story. But they do, so...

It's pretty fucked up that MS handicaps these indie developers when it comes to implementing cheevos in their games.

But that's the issue, especially with the indie games. 99.9% of the indie games get no fanfare at all so it's cot like you are going to know what you're looking for. The person that is interested in the indoe games is going to browse and hope to find a game that interests them. In that regard the whole system and clunky and very unintuitive. Not to mention that MS doesn't seem to afford any of these guys any way to get the word out about their games on the dashboard. Instead of maybe offering one of those 50,000 Chuck Norris World of Warcraft repeating ads (which baffles me because WoW is only a PC game?) how about giving the indie guys something to promote their shit? I mean, for fucks sake, MS is already raping them in the ass by taking, what, 80% of the sales? They can't at least throw them a bone?

But you play 3DS and Wii, right? No unimportant trophies there.

Why would they put indie games out front? Why? It would be a turrible business decision.

Blizzard probably pays a nice chunk of change to get their commercial on the front of the dashboard.

I was thinking the same thing. But I guess because I know those platforms don't support them it isn't an issue for me. But I honestly never play my Wii and play the 3DS because of it's convenience.

I'm not saying they should be front and center. But when you go to the Games tab and go to Indie games there should be something/

I'm sure they do, which brings me back to the question as to why the fuck we are paying a subscription for the service then? Do we really need to get in that discussion again? I don't doubt for one second that these advertisers are paying MS shit tons of money to plaster ads all over Live. Does that revenue get passes on to us as discounted of free service? Of course fucking not. It just goes right in M$'s pockets.

But again, it makes no sense. If the ad works then I'm shutting me 360 off and firing up WoW on my PC. Fucking dumb.

Who are you to doubt El Dandy?

HBO's onDemand service through a TV provider is only a fraction of their library.

HBOGO has their entire library available onDemand. I do have it on my computer, but I want the full HD stream on my TV.

I want to watch The Wire again...and I don't want to buy it. Also want to catch up on Boardwalk. And watch some HBO Shows I haven't gotten to.

                  Time is money, my friend.

Because they have us now. We are all still paying and the numbers are increasing. Making it free at this point wont help them much at all. Its a fucking cash cow for them. I agree would should not have to pay to play online though.....it is BS.

I'm still confused? So you can just subscribe to HBOGo through your computer? You don't need to have it through a tv supplier?

No, you need to have HBO through your provider. But it is true, HBOGo is much MUCH better than HBO OnDemand.

So, you have to pay for HBO twice?

Essentially I guess, if you only get Xbox Live Gold for HBOGo. Otherwise, no, the service itself is free to subscribers (on your computer).

its free on your ipad as well if your a subscriber.

The problem is that Larry wants to watch it on his nice TV in the living room easily. Having HBO go on the XBOX would make that easier.

I am pretty sure HBO Go blocks HDMI out from the iPad to the TV....fuckers. A PC hooked up the the TV would work.
