Can you do it on easy? I am not that far, so maybe that doesn't matter, but on day 1 on Hard I got Butters knocked out once early on while I was still grasping the timing.

If you get the timing down on blocks you're good. The thing I'm wondering now is with Kenny when he gets knocked out he auto-resurrects. If he's still down, does that count against the trophy? I guess I'll find out in 12 more hours of gameplay...

If you just do the main missions all the way through I think it's supposed to take 12 hours or so. Make friends with Clyde before you start training with Cartman.

Agreed. There are a lot of opportunities for "episodes" that come out of the make up of the town and what you do in it.

It's longer than a season of the show. Idk how anyone could expect a 20+ hour main story quest when the content you're getting is this quality. Also since the mall is closed down during the game they could definitely put out some DLC with it at some point.

So apparently there were expansion episodes already announced as timed exclusives for the 360. Suppose I should have googled this sooner. I wonder how much I can buy the game for again when those drop on ps3...... Best buy has this at $40 trade in value right meow...

Aaaaaand the game has been beaten. That was a lot more fun than I was expecting. Fantastic game.

I'm near the end on Day 3:

 

Made my way into Clyde's Evil Fort.

I was disappointed with some of the re-writes as far as where you learn the Nagasaki from... maybe it was to be expected with the delays but getting it from Terrance and Phillip and NOT Randy sucked.

Having to go into Canada to service one big joke about how fetch quests suck in RPGs (complete with 8 bit Canada!) was alright but contrived.

But back in the Fort...

The Snuke is reintroduced and apparently if you leave the room before disarming it, it's GAME OVER.

They literally give you the end credits like at the end of an episode.

You can continue before that point though, thankfully.

Motherfuckers be betraying people WAY TOO MUCH in this game.

Cartman against Clyde; Me against Cartman/Butters/Token/Craig/Scott Malkison/etc.; Craig against the combined forces of the Elves and the Humans; Kenny...

I'm glad everybody in the game were just "pretending" or else I'd think none of these people were worth trusting.

I think Butters and Jimmy were the only cool kids in the game despite which side you might take.

As for the ending:

 

at using the Final Boss Battle trope of having to fight the Boss over and over again.

Seeing Princess Kenny's Unicorn become a Nazi Zombie Unicorn was a trip.

Seeing Kenny die then turn into Nazi Zombie Princess Kenny was better.

Breaking the Gentleman's Oath at the end was cool.

And finally being able to speak at the end was great.

Did you not watch the 3 episode story arc from this past season of the show? Betrayal was a huge part of the prequel to the game. I was expecting lots of it going in.

Also... Since this game is supposed to be canon... is Clyde dead?

I didn't and it didn't change my opinion of the game.

The title's awesome and should be played by everybody.

As for Clyde?

No body, no death.

Ive played for hours just exploring the town this game is awesome! Feels like paper mario meets south park love it!
