I like gymkhana. I think I might get WRC3 at some point, but might wait till I get a PC. You can get a US copy on amazon for PC download. The problem with dirt, is it more arcade type stuff rather then just rally and rallycross.

I'll most likely get it Day 1. Most of my IRL friends will get it too, so that will make it much more fun. At least for me.

I think a game like that will thrive on single player, but thats just me.

High praise for the game on GiantBomb.
With around 120 or so events to choose from, Forza Horizon might sound somewhat slim when compared to Forza Motorsport 4, but it gains a lot more depth from its open world than it initially lets on. But most importantly, it manages to simultaneously feel like a Forza game while also letting in more of what makes racing games fun for all players, rather than staying strictly focused on those of us who want strict simulations of varying realism. It's got a cockpit view, but it also gives you points for smashing through street signs and performing totally sick J-turns. That might sound like a contradiction that would cripple a game, but Horizon manages to make all of these different elements fit together in a way that seems natural. And that's pretty impressive.

If you love Forza 4, this is the perfect companion. If you love cars, this is essential. The school of thought may be that it’s hard to push racing games this late in a generation, but Playground Games hasn’t just moved the needle here. It’s buried it.

Ladies and gentlemen, the open road beckons. And racing developers of the world? Playground Games has just put you on notice.

I like what IGN said. It may not be race tracks, but the game is about the cars, and people who love cars.

I don't like the comparisons to Forza 4. Yes, they obviously share the Forza name, but these games aren't even close to the same. Forza Motorsport is a simulation racer whereas this is an arcade racer developed by a different studio. Wish they'd stop saying, "well Forza 4 had this, but Horizon has this." No, just stop, they are not even close to being the same type of game.

The one thing I didn't like in the video, was he said,"when you turn off all the assist, it feels like a sim." It might feel better with the assist off, but no means a sim. For one, no real damage takes away from it. And am I the only one that finds it wayyyyyyy to easy to drift in the demo without losing control? I had traction control on, and I was still able to drift way to easy. They did clearly change it. However, I do love the roadster type of cars they have added. The 458 spider is on the top of my list for cars I want to get when I get the game. It could still be a fun game, but thats just what it is, a game....not a sim.

Yes, the drifting is much more arcadey.

I agree with you guys. I liked the demo, but it's far from finding the perfect racing line & braking/acceleration points that -while it'll be a great game - its just not that comparable to Forza 4.

Still, can't wait to get my hands on the 2-Eleven in the open world!
