I have not got back into this game. I am waiting till I can move my gaming PC up stairs into my gaming room. Wife is done with her masters on sunday and that computer is back to being all mine.

Once it is upstairs and I get a desk for it I will play it more. My laptop doesnt like to Sim City....I get like 15 FPS.

... Because if you abandon your city like I did, (because I wanted to get a different city because I didn't like the mountains in my city ) The game will kick you out and you have to be reinvited

I've been playing a bit, getting into the game with a buddy. I'm sure when all the bugs are fixed and maybe they release new regions this will be playable for years.

I have always been a proponent of digital download, but that being said...remember when you could put the disc in and play the damn game? Jesus Christ.

Why does it seem like EA is going out its way to not only fuck up good things (digital download) but also destroy things that we love?

I played quite a bit of this today in the VSN Region. I am doing eveything in my power to get an international Airport (Great Works) but we need someone to send oil!

JMS invited me earlier, someone claimed the land I had before (and I'm glad). I chose another plot and the land with littered with ground pollution, so I selected another property and that one was worse. Actually, it was literally half dark brown when I selected the ground pollution map and I would think that someone
had previously used that land for a sewage dump.

I would think the plot would reset so it was clean, but apparently that doesn't happen. The game was freezing on me, actually wouldn't load so I had to abandon my plots again.

I'm already doing well in another VSN region that Primetime set up, but I'll join this one again.

I feel like I am stuck. THey only way I am making money is coal, metals, and alloys. I am exporting them for around 200K a month but I am breaking even buy the hour. I am moving towards tourism but not ready yet. I have about 56K sims and 400K in simoleans. I am at the point now where I am bulldozing and redesigning.
