Oh and since most of you guys are new to streaming, you should be streaming a screen cap, not directly from the PVR. That's a huge fucking fail.
It's dropping frames when I'm less than 480p, although it very well could be this computer. And I'm not quite sure I follow your second comment...

So you must be streaming directly from your PVR.

Open Total Media Extreme while you have your PVR plugged in. You'll see that it is displaying what is on your xbox. Maximize TME and open up XSplit. In xsplit click on Add--->Screen Region. Outline the video of your xbox. Then in the xsplit preview window drag the video so it fully covers the black box.

(you should also set your scale viewpoint to 20% so it uses less CPU power...this will have no effect on your actual stream)

That was the perfect storm for me. I thought I had no chance at all with 2 weeks to go.

So do I need to buy anything to actually stream in good quality?

Does Total Media Extreme come with the PVR or something? B/c I use the Elgato HD.

OK so do you have any program that you can use to display what is currently on your xbox?

I see what you're saying now, and figured it out. However, I'm still dropping frames. It's better, but I still end up dropping them. So I'm guessing it's the computer. But the stream has worked perfectly fine sometimes.

Its your upload mbps....if it is not that great and variable it will affect the stream. Very annoying...my best stream are usually late at nite.

I was going to say upstream bandwidth is the likely culprit as well. You probably need at least 2M upstream to get good quality video if you are also gaming at the same time, maybe even 3M.

Too tired to mess with all that shit tonight and play the DLC. Just the DLC for tonight babe. I'll definitely try to get our STRIKE Team efforts streamed this weekend tho.
