That's just dumb. I know you've said that's one of your favorite features of the PS3 and how it destroyed the 360 in that aspect. It makes no sense not to have on PS4. Am I missing something?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk.
360 had that feature all along. I still use it almost daily.
There's no reason that shouldn't be the case. Just release it at midnight Eastern. If the other time zones get to play it a few hours early, big fucking deal. Makes more sense than fucking the East coasters over.
thats interesting. they must have changed this. they said they couldnt release a game based on time zone so the only way to make sure they didnt break the street date was to do a midnight pacific release.....but this is good to know for those pre releases
Those original "fat" PS3's are still worth money to guys that have PS2 libraries they want to play because those consoles still had backwards compatibility. I sold mine off about 3 years ago at Christmas on craigslist and got enough money to buy a new PS3 slim w/250GB hard drive and a controller.
The reason that Sony is always last to the table on media and audio formats is that their company is ran by people that are obsessed with not providing any support to any technology that could promote piracy. Remember that Sony is huge in the music and movie industries in addition to gaming and other technology. They always give us what we need over time but it is always a PITA, just like it was when the PS3 launched.
Interesting. Also consider that it sounds like EA/Respawn wanted to start a bidding war between Sony and Microsoft for exclusivity, and Sony didn't think it was worth the investment necessary to secure the rights.
It also sounded like EA didn't have much confidence in TitanFall themselves. Why didn't they step up and fund the development? Why was Sony or Microsoft needed in the 1st place?
I think they had plenty of confidence in Titanfall. They just wanted somebody to pony up big $$ for exclusivity.
Yeah I agree. The whole reason that Infinity Ward is a shadow of its former self is because EA was courting the founding members of the team for a new IP. Having those credentials just allowed them to attempt to create a bidding war.
