I bought this game today on the PS4. Very, very promising game. I love being able to buy a digital download game at work and play it when I get home.
Project CARS was a day-one purchase for me, based on all the geeks who really got behind this concept.
    I love the go-karts.
To me, if you like racing games, this one is a no-brainer regardless of the console (Xbox One, PS4) or PC choice.
This game is very customizable for a console game ... hell, it has me thinking of buying a racing wheel.

gonna have to pick this one up asap, wonder how it compares to forza?
the concept reminds me of the old TOCA games, should be a nice career mode

GRID Autosport is the like great grandchild of the TOCA games. I haven't played Forza since Forza 2 but pCars is a great game. I hate the karts but I just skip those in career mode. Plays well with a controller too.

A few days in, I HIGHLY recommend this game. It's simply a fun racer and incredibly customizable. I can't remember a racing game where the cars felt so different from car to car ... and this game is so customizable that you don't have to buy a steering wheel - and the adjustable CPU opponents gives you a chance to have fun and win. But it can also be full-on hardcore - no assists, you need a steering wheel, etc...

I liked Codemasters' F1 series to a certain extent, but felt it was simply too difficult for goofballs like yours truly who just play occasionally. Project CARS solves that. It's a game for the hardcore and the goofs.

            PC Online Racing Nights -

Tuesday - Just some random fun. Any cars, any tracks. 9pm EDT

Thursday - 9pm EDT. Test night for league. We'll do a test for what an actual league night would be like. 2 sprint races at Donington Park in the classic DTM cars. We'll run a practice session and a 10 minute qualifying session before the race. I haven't decided on race lengths yet, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 minutes each. I'll post some more rules when I get them ironed out.
