I don't care about a shit load of them, I just want a few quality ones which looks like the case so far.

COD4 was amazing. I wasn't as high on COD: MW2, but it was still better than anything Treyarch or the new IW has put out, IMO (Respawn basically consists of most of the dudes that made COD1-MW2). Good pedigree, as basically the dudes that invented multiplayer persistence, but I guess we'll see if they reinvent the wheel, or just keep going back to the well.

Either way, I'm curious if it'll sell like COD considering I doubt the average gamer gives a shit about some tag like "From some of the dudes that did COD4!" or something like that.

EDIT - reading your post again...I think you meant exclusive games, not IW developers. My bad, if so.

MS is riding Azure hard. Azure is nice, but this has real potential to backfire. I mean I hope no one honestly believes they will have 300k actual servers like they said at their meeting. More than half of those will be virtual servers. That is how the azure cloud is set up. It's literally an Xhibit meme. "Yo we got cloud servers in your cloud so you can cloud while clouding."

Also I just read that you can only give your game to someone ONCE. So that puts a wrinkle in the used games scenario.

Give your games to friends: Xbox One is designed so game publishers can enable you to give your disc-based games to your friends. There are no fees charged as part of these transfers. There are two requirements: you can only give them to people who have been on your friends list for at least 30 days and each game can only be given once.

Fucking MS...I really don't even know what to say anymore. I personally don't care about DRM or used games or always on. But literally everything about their approach this generation seems sneaky or underhanded. It would have been nice to carry over my achievements, but sorry dudes, that's not enough. Unless they really bring it with ACTUAL exclusives, I just don't give a shit.

Somewhat unrelated but: fuck me, someone get Bioware out of EA. ANYONE.

World at War is criminally underrated and is panned by gamers because it actually required skill to use most of the weapons. You couldn't just pray and spray like most other games. It's by far my favorite besides COD4.

This. Most of this stuff doesn't really affect me. My consoles are connected to the internet as it is. Most of my games are purchased new (or newish with sales). Whatever. It's just the way of how they are coming at this generation and how much of a mess their people create just instantly turn me off (except you Turn 10. I still love you). Just give me games that I can't play anywhere else (and I can play without a Kinect :shifty).

Would LOVE to see BioWare sign with another publish. Fuck that sucks.

As an aside, I have both my copies of COD4 and WAW, if they are still supported online, I wouldn't mind playing again.
