No, it didn't come with a cord. I think someone said that any mini usb cord works. You might be SoL if all you have are Apple cords though.

I'm not sure what you consider "dismal"? Considering I get 6-8 hours of play time out of mine and it has a built in rechargeable battery, unlike the XBone that still has a controller stuck in 2000.

the plug and play kit i have for the controller stuck in 2000 only has to be charged once a week, if that. much better than having to buy an entire new controller when that thing finally poops out (if they last two years, i will be surprised).

Considering I still have my Dial Shock 3's that are over six years old and still going strong, I'll take that bet.
