Andy Sonnanstine took a no-hitter into the bottom of the 8th inning, but gave up a leadoff single to Ryan Church to have it broken up. Sonny finished with a complete game one-hit shutout, and 12 K's. Matt Joyce hit a HR, and Longoria and Pena added a double each. Oliver Perez took the loss for NY.

Whew....what a great game! Marlins win the game on a bases loaded walk in the top of the 11th inning to force home the winning run. How often do you see that in an online game? Take notes Jax and MVPete, you can actually WIN by not swinging. ;) However, Brotha almost won this thing in the bottom of the 9th when he had a runner on 2nd and hit a deep fly ball to RF that somehow my fielder just was able to get to for the 3rd out.

Brotha2ThaNight means business, he's got a great eye at the plate. Seems like I'm pitching a 3-2 count to every batter. Good times. All the best online Show players are right here at VSN.

Sidenote: Marlins bullpen is garbage! Awful.

i know you didnt mean me....but i did see your message from earlier tonight but not until i was getting off the ps3. I was in the middle of eating a late dinner and a long franchise game that didnt seem to want to end. i was playing the rangers and i just kept scoring and scoring. it reached a point where i just wanted it to be over

guys i dont mean to complain but i can put my stick down til its 3-1 on almost every batter in my few VSN games so far...i kno its my job not to swing but im getting a little annoyed with it. I can play Lobby games if thats the case...lets step up our pitching games fellas NOTICE I DID NOT NAME NAMES SO DONT RESPOND TO IT...just lets step up our games to make the experience a lil more fun for all and not just yourself.

He's simply mentioning the fact that you two swing at everything. That's all.

But that was a one time thing
I do love how my first time playing someone they almost throw the thing at my head or throw it at the ground and expect me to swing gives me and advantage them thinking i swing at all so lets keep it like that :flex:

i dont understand the thinking behind the throw strikes all the time non sense. as a pitcher, your job is to get outs, not give the hitter batting practice

i know what you mean about missing in the dirt or high. its not intentional. The lag creates that problem.

yeah i do that too with the FB, i think most people use that pitch. Sometimes i notice a guy misses way high though. or they miss in the dirt. you can tell its not intentional. Even the curveball in the dirt is BS half the time. those things are so hard to control offline too. but again, not intentional
