Ohhh man can't wait. Played SR3 for like 2 straight days to beat the game, then the following weeks were going in multiplayer goofing around with friends and/or strangers.

Deep Silver has announced the pre-order bonuses for Saints Row IV. Anyone who pre-orders at participating retailers in North America will be upgraded to the Commander in Chief Edition, featuring a Screaming Eagle weapon that “fires rockets out of its talons and can invoke the ‘Sonic Scream’ attack, leaving your enemies dazed, confused and likely scarred for life.”

The Commander in Chief Edition also includes a limited edition Uncle Sam costume as well as the ‘Merica weapon, “full of incredibly astonishing firepower: flamethrowers, ultra-powered dub step guns and rocket launchers.”

The Commander in Chief Edition will cost $59.99 on console and $49.99 on PC. Saints Row IV launches on August 20th in North America and August 23rd worldwide.

Still waiting for the best collector's edition to see what they've got cooked up but this is a start in the vein of the Genki DLC.

Hmmm. As fuch as I love this franchise do I pay $60 just to ensure I get an in game weapon or wait a few weeks for the inevitable price srop to $40?

Of course if this is on the Best Buy GCU list than I guess it's a moot point.

Dub step gun? LOL. Plus they put Crackdown in my Saints Row. Fuck yes!

I see he was playing the 360 version. Hopefully they fix the framerate isssues on that version. The framerate in the last game was HORRIBLE. Sometimes the game was slow to a fucking crawl.

Apparently this game is NOT in Best Buy's GCU $20 certificate list. Unless that changes I'll wait until it goes on sale.

I didn't say that. With all the games I still have yet to play or finish, with SR3 on PS3 being one of them, and the fact that Splinter Cell comes out the same day as this, there is no reason for me to get it day one. Especially when I know it will be $40 within a few weeks.

I am not positive, but im 95% sure they first announced the $20 Game Zone Unlocked Pre-Order bonus, those games were all coming out the first half the year and they planned to add a second wave of games for the holiday shopping season. Then a few games got delayed into later in the year. They better add more titles otherwise we are going to get gipped because GTA and Splinter Cell got delayed.

Edit: South Park isn't coming out anytime soon so thats another game we got shafted on with not having a $20 bonus.

Expect a new list with Fall Releases to be announced. I know GTA 5 is on there but that was delayed.

GTA5 and Splinter Cell are on the list. But yeah, the list is thin because it's all for games that came out last Fall or this Spring.

I don't think it's any secret that I'm a huge Saints Row fan but I have seriously been cutting down on buying games day one. Had this been part of the $20 certificate offer I'd be swayed but it's not.
