I think I'm going to hold off for now. The game looks great but I still have a ton to do in Destiny. I can't see myself getting around to it anytime soon. No point getting it now just for a $10 certificate.
Cutscenes are separate from the graphics in-game, but these cutscenes look pretty damn good. Combat is very sharp... and also exactly like playing games from the Arkham series, only the combat animations are even more Middle-Earthy than I imagined. It definitely feels like you're playing within the Lord of the Rings universe, which in and of itself is fucking awesome.

That's another reason why I decided to hold off. I have almost no interest in the LotR, I just want to play it because it looks like a great action game.
It's definitely a fantastic action game. It's everything you wanted from Assassin's Creed and the Arkham series as far as gameplay/combat goes. You're just going to appreciate everything a lot more if you're into LotR. But it's not like the game beats you over the head with it.
Just like jhen said... perfect combination of gameplay from the Assassin's Creed and Batman Arkham series'. If you like stealth, great game for it. I like how they've set up the bosses and you can gain intel on them to find out their strengths and weaknesses. The game rewards being prepared and being cautious while punishing you for the opposite. Some of your favorite ways to kill may not work against some bosses. Intel comes in handy.
One of the best things about this game is how lost you can get in free-roaming and side quests. They are all fun.
Thoughts on difficulty? I'm seeing a lot of posts of people complaining about how crushingly difficult the game is. More than a few people even said it's harder than the Souls games.
