i liked LA Noire at first. all the new things they did were impressive but the whole "crime scene investigation" routine got very repetitive and halfway through the game i had no desire to continue on.

i wish i had paid $5 for LA Noire. Major hype (rightly so) but a failed delivery (hello watch dog).
for $5 you cant go wrong. its not a bad game its just stupid and boring for what we expect from rockstar.

i played and beat la noire. i didnt love it nor did i hate it.
i didnt like driving back and forth across the map.
for 5 bucks, i'd say play it. dont expect anything blockbuster tho.

Maynard is being unnecessarily combative but his point is accurate: Rockstar put this game out as a Rockstar game. If Team Bondi had released it themselves, there would likely be no shooting or driving or you know, most of the crappy bullshit that is in the game (although the puzzles left a lot to be desired at the same time, IMO). I agree with his overall point: Rockstar tried to pitch this as an almost cerebral GTA. 2K fell in line. And I think that it left a lot of people confused.

Maybe it's just me because I buy almost everything, especially when it's on sale, but I can't see how anyone wouldn't want to buy all of these games for $5. I can't imagine that there is a way you wouldn't get your five dollars worth,veen if you played it for an hour and decided it wasn't for you.

Most of these games, especially the Rockstar ones, are excellent (IMO). At $5 they are a a no brainer.

These flash sales are nuts. My 1TB HDD is now full and I still couldn't download two of the games I bought. Christ Sony, lay off with the sales. H.
