Animation overhaul: running, throwing, general player movement. This is by far the ugliest sports game in motion, and at this point on a new generation of systems the game should look like a real game of football.

WR/CB interactions: WR's actually fighting for the ball, jostling, etc....this hasn't really changed since Madden 06 and is one of the last areas of gameplay that has not been addressed.

SLIDERS THAT WORK CORRECTLY: Penalty sliders should not be affecting more of the gameplay than the actual gameplay sliders. Penalty sliders should only control penalties, 100 should equal a ton, 0 should equal no penalties. Lowering QB accuracy slider should not also lower the CPU AI. Lowering tackle slider should not open up more/different tackle animations. So many of the sliders affect other things than what they say, it is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Better draft classes/editing: As it stands now, there is no true Nose Tackles. There is no high strength, Lynch-like, running-backs. No strong/blocking TE's. The classes are entirely too small, by round 4 a lot of the different player types are completely drafted. Let us edit the classes to our liking or even download community classes. Would go a long way.

Let us edit rookies too if you're not going to take the time to make them look normal at all. Let us change their faces and hair etc. So every single fucking black guy I draft doesn't have dreadlocks. That's so stupid.

Also add offense/defense/special teams coordinators. It's ridiculous they're still not in the game yet.

Forgot to add that, super ANNOYING that every rookie wears the same Peyton Manning Revolution helmet, they all have captain patches, and 80% of the black players have dreads.

The body's are off on the rookies too, way too many broad shoulders/tiny waist guys and weak looking O-line. All these little things add up to kill the immersion.

          1. Bring back Defensive Assignments.
          2. Bring back DEFENSIVE Assignments.
          3. Bring back DEFENSIVE ASSIGNMENTS!

          4. Fix warp tackling that's been in the game for the past 2-3 years. It's stupid that a 300+ pound d-lineman can superman tackle your HB who's 5 yards away from him. Which brings me to...

          5. Tone down the effectiveness of block shedding for users who bash X/[] as soon as the ball snaps. I understand it was a new feature this year and EA's track record for new features is to have them be a little overpowered, but there's no reason for this to be so effective every snap. Combine that with the warp tackling and it's almost impossible to run.

          6. Gameprep: Scratch the current layout and let the user upgrade whoever he wants on the team (give it the same layout as you have just viewing your roster). Far too many times are the 25 selections it gives you duplicates and some positions aren't even listed. Also, if someone wants to put all their hours into one player on a given week, allow them to do that. Similar to how they fixed upgrading attributes to players this year.

          7. Tone down the lobbing effectiveness. This isn't NCAA Football 2005 where you can throw bombs all game and get away with it, even when the DB covering the WR is clearly the better player. Increase the DB's ability to swat the ball. As others have touched, continue to improve on the CB vs. WR aspect of the game.

          8. Fix HB screens when they are called from under center. There is absolutely no time to let the screen develop this year unless it's called from the shotgun formation. D-line is immediately in the backfield on screen plays.

I'll add more as I think of them.

This. Please mention all of this. They need to feel as stupid as they are for giving us this BS. They seriously spent all of an hour and a half on this it seems. I trade away my draft picks because I'm sick of the rookie player models being complete ass. Even if I knock a draft out of the park and pick up cornerstones of my team I know the models are going to be awful and I don't even want them on my team.

                  - dont try to improve something thats working

                  - get rid of CNF - dont fix it - just get rid of it........
this way we can focus on XP. the XP is fine if we dont have to deal with CNF as well

                  - add defensive hot routes in Previous Play

                  - more realistic Draft Classes - these super hero rookies only show 1 every 5 years, not 5+ in the 1st 3 rounds
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

Why are these wish list requested so late? We know minor improvements will be implemented once they get these.

But uh, how about bringing back formation subs outside of the game as well as being able to make special teams subs? How long has this been requested since it was taken out on a PS2 version?

Ability to scrimmage (play now games) with connected franchise rosters as well as go into practice mode with them.

Confidence can work, but it needs to be half the price to gain or maybe if you use 10 hours of game prep you should get at least 10 confidence points. It's not a terrible idea overall, but it needs to reset each new season, with the lowest a player can start a season at is 25, and the highest 75. Guys that ends the season at 0 confidence shouldn't be further fucked in an entirely new season. Start at 25, rating adjustments will be minimal while still holding a player accountable for a shitty season. Stop taking away 3-5 conf points if a guy drops and interception or doesn't make over 10 tackles in a game.

To elaborate on the confidence, there shouldn't be such dramatic drops for bad performances while minimal increases for good performances. A QB will drop 10+ confidence points for 3 Ints but gain only a single point for 3 TDs. And do away with players losing confidence in wins. "I should have contributed more" but you had 5 tackles, a sack, a FF AND you won by 3 possessions.

                          1. Defensive Assignments (as previously mentioned)

                          2. Given a certain PB, the ability to to have manual substitutions for certain formations and sets before the game. (as previously mentioned) This could lead to a greater importance of depth players. IE pass rush specialists, 2 down LBs vs 3 down LBs, etc

                          3. For CFM, sort of goes with a "Game Prep" theme, before the game obviously, the showing of your upcoming opponent's tendencies (run: outside left, middle, outside right / Pass: Short, Intermediate, Deep, Left, Middle, Right ATTs/Completions). This should make games more interesting as it may direct (or misdirect) focus on areas of tendencies. (I remember this being a feature in Online Play.)

                          4. For CFM, game prep wise, an option for a full fledged practice that could give all players XP on a tiered basis (slow = 250 XP, Normal = 400 XP, Fast = 650 XP, Star = 800 XP) maybe cross matched with how long the player has been in the league: rookies, 2nd, 3rd years get more; 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th year guys get an average amount; 8th+ years guys get less. Which coincides with you get much more, development wise, out of practice for younger guys than for older guys obviously. This could be in addition to game prep where you can focus hours on individual player(s) or for confidence. Also the practice mode allows CFM owners to actually practice with their CFM team.

                          5. Defensive Assignments

                          6. For CFM, an APP that allows you to advance the league (for commish), make roster moves (ie release, trade, trade block), optional notifications of league rosters moves, trades, when a team puts someone on a trade block, scores, week advanced, Players of the week, etc. (Along with the ability to opt in or out of certain notifications, IE some may want to know of trades and trade blocks, but not every time a team releases someone). Not a web portal, an app.

                          7. For CFM, allow the commish to award a SIM WIN for a team

                          8. For CFM, OC, DC, ST coordinators that even possibly have some sort of advantage/weakness as far as development. (OC John Smith has + ATTR development/ - ATTR development ) things of that sort. This would allow teams to tailor development to what they deem to be important to their scheme.

                          9. For CFM, Give all teams the raw combine numbers, pro day numbers, but still have us need to "scout" all other attributes.

                          10. For CFM, Restricted Free Agents

Given today's technology, I'd like to see the ability to download a friend's playcalling and play against them offline. Imagine how much fun we could have if we could download a friend's profile (including the manual play) and play them without actually going online?

NFL2k5 kinda started this. Surely 11 years later EA could come up with something similar.

                              Madden '16 Wish List

                              Fixes

                              1. Confidence modifiers - In lack of a better words, this feature was absolute garbage (and very disappointed it wasn't patched). Way too much of a swing either way. The strong get stronger and the weak get weaker. The NFL is all about parity. It is a year to year proposition league, meaning that at anytime you can go from the doghouse to the penthouse and vice versa. The least you can do is reset everyone's confidence to 50 before every season or give commish rights to turn off feature.

                              2. Progression/Regression - Another item of concern. If you going to set goals base them on qrt length played. I am ok with automatic regression/progression formulas based on age but make it realistic and don't inadequate players overnight in the offseason.

                              3. Weather - Not every game in the NFL is played in hurricane winds. Too many games are decided on strong winds which translates to kicking field position.

                              4. Balance the strength with the offensive alignments. We all know the Pistol alignment has been the "glitch" alignment and the choice of cheeseballs this year. Way too overpowering with both the run and the pass. Under Center should be the strongest for the run and shotgun the strongest for pass. Pistol should be somewhere in the middle of the two.

                              5. Balance within the Defence - I know everyone complained last year how the defence was underpowered and the zones coverages were too easy to beat. The fact of the matter is that guys who knew how to play defense, still played good defense last year. Playing defense is way too easy this year and does not have any strength balance withing the plays. Teams can stop the run with a simple cover 4 shell and on the contraire stop the deep pass with a crowded box and B&R coverage.

Wish List (in no particular order)

                              1. Defensive assignments - NCAA had it for a while (as well as Madden) it in the past. Why are we regressing with this? I can't imagine being that hard of a feature to implement.

                              2. Formation subs in CFM and/or pause menu. That is to INCLUDE SPECIAL TEAMS. This is another item that we have regressed from previous years (NCAA at least). What better way than to put your drafted rookies on special teams so they can progress through playing time.

                              3. Strong and Weak side linebackers. When you flip a defensive play the outside linebackers should switch roles based on "Sam" and "Will" assignments. The fact that we still don't have this leaves me scratching my head every year. A weak vs a strong side linebacker could look very different especially based on a particular scheme. Same applies with DEs but at this point I would be very happy to see the linebackers fixed.

                              4. Provide combine results for draft. NCAA had it with recruits. For example, 40 times gave you a sense of speed, Bench was pass protection/pass rush, squats was for run blocking/block shedding, etc.

                              5. Ability to export roster from CFM to practice and/or playnow, scrimmage mode. This was a very popular feature in the PC version back in the day and a must for any serious CFM in todays day.

                              6. Fix the 4-3 Over alignment... PLEASE! Not sure what exactly the in game 4-3 over is but its not a 4-3 Over alignment.

                              7. Give us the ability to organize our playbooks withing the playbooks. What I mean by that is to let us organize our play order in the play selection screen. NCAA had it for years.

As you can see I don't have any outrageous requests, just fix the deficiencies and bring back some of the better options we already used to have in NCAA and older versions of Madden.
