Definitely find out if they're ever going to add AT LEAST Offensive/Defensive/Special Teams Coordinators into the game... Seriously there are 96 coaches not in the game at all. One of the best parts of the old PS2 games were the coaching carousel at the end of each season. Let me bring in the staff I want and even promote another team's coach to be my new head coach.

Known issues with why Coaches are not in game before- just like the NFLPA reserves the rights of players there is a Coach Association that have the rights to Coach likenesses, so it is probably a legal issue as assistant coaches may not be under contract with the NFLCA. That's why I stated most of us don't really know what kind of red tape these guys go through to just add something we want, and feel should be an easy fix. 👍

        1. Still Need More Controls for the Commish:

          * Like letting the Commish be able to give wins, and losses.
          * Allow there to be a Commish Committee, or just the Commish vote which Stadium that will
          host the next Super Bowl.
          * Let Commish be able to make roster edits, but also have it show to everyone, just in case he
is doing under the table type of stuff.
          * The Commish needs to be able to do some type of Newsletter, or alert message that flags all
members on what's going on within the CF

        1. CFM Communication: If I had to choose one thing that killed more CF’s it’s the lack of communication.

        * We need a app that allows guys to update, and receive a message within the CF.
Maybe like Facebook Messenger. Do you know how hard it is to contact someone, and know
they actually got your message when they have a full friends list, and don’t respond back?
Just some type of communication tool.

        4) CFM Presentation & Immersion Improvements:

        * First thing I noticed right away was the lack of excitement within the Franchise about making
the playoffs. Coming into the final weeks of the season there should be a build up to who is
making the playoffs, who’s in a battle for the top seeds, who needs help to get in, or who got
shafted! There is no mention whatsoever in the news feed, little alone in games, or even
the standings. Build Excitement Around It!

        * There needs to be more player immersion, and player interaction within the CFM.
        1. Owners need more handling of the team… Being able to change uniforms up for teams,
Like a Team Builder option NCAA Football had. Let me revamp unis, stadiums,
and other things that an Owner could do in real life.
        2. Be A Pro needs an option to play Senior Bowl, and Combine and little things leading up
to the draft. Lets not forget the draft itself! This mode also needs to have the option that
will allow more than one guy who can play on the same team.
Think NCAA Road To Glory with multiplayer.
        3. Coaching needs more hands on with scouting personal, players, and just everyday task
that comes with running a team. How about like scouting the next team, making more
personal decisions with player personal packages, game planning, studying in the
film room, and or scouting the combine.

        CFM Roster Improvements:

        * We need the Practice Squad! I have wanted to see a practice squad be an important part of how
a team operates for some time now. Having the ability to call up a squad player, or sending that
guy down to work on his game so he can improve his OVR would be big in my opinion.
Snagging a guy from your buddy, and turning him into a Super Star would create some rivalries!

        * Need to be able to customize a personal package before a game starts.
        * Roster requirements for positions needs to be revamped IMO. Need actual Long Snapper spot
on the roster, and do away with certain amount needed for backups. exp: 2 LG & 2 RG just
        make it 3 total Guards
        * Incoming Rookies seem to all have the same equipment- Shoulder pads that look like they are
getting ready to play in the Thunder Dome on Mad Maxx. Oh also the Revolution helmets, mask,
and long hair is almost every CB and WR in the draft.
        * Need more info on incoming Rookies like stats, injuries, and behaviour possibly, or
        team player/ showboat.

I could list, and have a list 14 pages long of stuff Madden 16 and beyond needs. Heres to hoping!

Ask if there is any way they can randomize the unique throwing styles for the generated rookies. I hate how every QB has throwing style "Generic 1", even though there are a handful of other "Generics" that are not even used, as well as existing players. I have always found this odd and annoying. Would be cool if they added more generic QB cadences, as well. It keeps things fresh.

Any info on added throwing styles/animations and cadences would be appreciated. Would also like to see if you could confirm more variety for the rookies, since for whatever reason they took away the ability to edit CPU teams (it was in Madden 25!?!?!) inside Franchise mode.

Then why did they have no issues having coordinators in the older Madden games of the PS2 era

The question nearly always focuses on balance. Every game on the market has to focus on what is marketable and still appealing to the very small percentage of hardcore guys. Let's be honest, us hardcore guys don't sell games.
However they do need to throw us a couple bones each year and each year we don't get enough, the groans get louder. That being said, there are several things added in this year that many of us have been pushing for over the last 4 years. I can say it is certainly good to see feedback appreciated and implimented.

I think as a whole, they are at the point where they stopped listening to all of the noise and really have focused on the core experience and highlighting what they do and have done well. I have preached to them over the years to ignore the noise, those guys aren't going to be happy with anything. I think they have finally learned that for themselves.

My guess is that they spent the money for the agreement with the coaches association, and then found out that most of the players weren't too concerned with that feature and they took it out and moved those resources onto something else. I find it hard to believe the coaches association would turn down what amounts to free money, so I doubt they came around and said "no to Madden.

I'd love to see it back personally, but I can get any number of reasons why they took it out.

Here's two more that came to mind:

                      1. Add the chain gang back into the game. This year particularly, getting close to 1st downs is extremely frustrating. Don't know how many times I've seen a player get tackled right at the line and you're thinking it's 1st down and 2 secs later it says '3rd and inches'. I think if they had the chain gang back in and take that extra second to measure it, the game would give you a sense of not 'cheating' you every time. Ball spotting in M15 just seems odd.

                      2. Bring coin tosses back. Not just in OT (where it already is in), but at the start of the game. Again, I know you're trying to speed up the game; but let us W/L the coin toss on our own accord, don't just randomly decide it. Sounds weird, but you feel like you're being cheated (even though you could probably make the same argument about the coin toss).

Gameplay wise, I would love to see the amount of sacks quarterbacks can shrug of with the QB avoidance move toned way down

That type of move should only be reserved for the bigger QBs like Big Ben or Cam and even then it should be a rare occurence

Right now you have these puny QBs tossing 280 lb lineman (sometimes even 2 in a row) like rag dolls

I thought they had programmed certain animations in relation to certain ratings in the recent editions of the game. Such as a ballcarrier with a 95 stiff arm rating would trigger a different, more effective animation, than one with an 85. I guess I would ask; Is it that they haven't done that with a quarterback avoidance animation yet? Do they even plan to? Does the game even work like that anymore?

                            ---

I wish they could tie animations with abilities, somewhat like they did in 08, in order to better illustrate the differences in player's abilities on the field. Randy Moss was almost impossible to defend that year with his Spectacular Catch Ability, Just like he was in the 07 season. I know a lot of gamers, including myself, get frustrated by the lack of differences between Elite players and Average guys. In my opinion, the Elite guys should jump out and legitimately play better than your average players. You shouldn't have to delve into ratings, stats, or anything else other than watching it play out.

I know this cat has a bad wrap, but if one can put prejudice aside, I think he makes a strong point in in the latter part of this video.

(If the video doesn't automatically skip to it, please go to 3:05 of the video to see what I'm pointing out)

I want to see Madden do a better job of differentiating how effective an elite player is compared to an average or even "good" player. And not just that, But even in the Elite players, I want to see differences in them. When Freeney and Mathis both played defensive end in Indianapolis. Both guys were similar and both put up pretty much the same numbers. The difference in them was Freeney always looked like the more polished guy, and Mathis looked like he got it done on pure athleticism. Freeney had a the premier spin move in the league, an explosive edge rush, and could throw a bullrush in there that just surprised the shit out of some guys (Ask Jonathan Ogden). Mathis could do almost everything, finesse wise, that Freeney could; But in their younger days he never had the raw power Freeney could display in his bullrush, nor could he deal with double teams and chips like Freeney could. That was never more apparent in the 09 superbowl when Freeney could only play the first half, and Mathis was effectively dismantled as the Saints took control in the second. There are examples out there where it's been done before, there's no reason to believe EA isn't capable.

I want to see that play out. I don't want simulated statistics to "tell me" that one guy is better than the other based off of ratings and dice rolls. I want to watch the "tape" and see an elite guy's first step jump out to me, rather than see the elite guy come off the ball and engage guys the same way any other player does. I don't want to see an offensive tackle ignore an elite linebacker coming off the edge in order to create the perception that the linebacker is making an "elite" play. I want to see the linebacker actually make the play.

They need to fix the Illegal Forward Pass call. In the NFL as long as the QB's entire body isn't past the line of scrimmage it's not a penalty. Even if his toenail is the only part of his body that's still on the line it's not a penalty. In Madden if any part of the QB's body is even touching the line of scrimmage at all it's a flag.

How about bringing back co-op for Franchise mode??? Offline and online would be great. For online you wouldn't even need for the other player to have a coach or player etc. Just invite a friend to your weekly match up and have them play with you. This would make the game waaay more fun and harken back to the ps2 days of the couch co op I used to play with friends.
